Valid points and could very possibly be the case...however, as far as my point is concern...a statement was made, "Why is Winkleman making such an effort to be so public about this? A presser within 24 hours of the incident?" A very classic play is at hand here, of public pressure to force protection of brand name(make publicity quickly go away & settle), while gaining public sympathy for the accused, whom face possible charges...not unusual at all.

Hmmm...it appears the very moment after the incident that lead to the child's death, he immediately tried to remove guilt of this tragedy, by intentionally cover it up with a lie, that the 18mon(whom can barely walk)somehow pull herself up a 4 foot window, only to fall out of the middle payne window. The ship authorities realized the grandparent account of the event did not line up. Prompting a story changed, that the child slipped from his hands & the reports of conflicting accounts. Of course now...the story is the grandparent unknowingly failed to recognized the window payne was open & the child pressing against the glass(as she apparently always do at hockey games)fell over & slipped out of his hands...which is probably, the more accurate account of what happened, minus not recognizing an open window payne. I suspect the little girl is the one who did not know there was no glass there & proceeded to act as if it was; because, she likes slapping at glass windows and with enough gyrations to slip out of her grandfather's hand. Still negligence on his part couple with initial lying about his role in the matter & intentional deflecting blame.

Not sure; but, I suspect that is an outline of a the wing bridge & walkway they plan to install forward of the original location. With that said, the original wings outside the new cabin #'s discussed earlier, may not be part of those cabinet's balconies as speculated.

Hmmm...Royal has been hyping their amping as a huge deal, advertising the amount of money investing...and giving how they are charging for "everything" to recoup some of the expensive; yes, I was expecting amping on the level of the Nav...anything less would be disappointing. Just One Ship gets all the Bells & Whistle so many hope for, for a nearly 20 yr old ship, after making such a spectacular of the Amping Program. I was expecting venues like Playmakers, Bamboo, Coconut & Lime, El Loco Fresh(or some Down-under version), if not Hooks, then maybe the Bar BQ joint...Blaster water slide, new look pool deck area, and yes, throw in an Escape Room. There's nothing enticing about Voyager before amping & apparently not after….absolutely no "WoW" factor, after a week long count down. Certainly, a let down.

Great...so there's still hope

I was honestly hoping for more...on the level of Navigator; however, I'm not surprised either. Indy's & Adv's amping was disappointing & really nonexisting. Mariner was good; but, Nav is the only one, imo, that hit a homerun. We have yet to see details on the venues for Voy; so, I'm still holding out, it turn out to be at minimum, Mariner level amping. We will know more tomorrow I presume.

He specifically stated, "I may have made a comment that said you better get more than a couple because I'm a big guy," That's essentially admitting to making a threatening suggestion to the worker & warrant removal from the ship. The Captain had little choice...Robert's own words got him removed; and, rightfully so...there's little civility anymore. I suspect either no reservation was made & the couple is lying; or, they didn't fully complete the process when making the reservation...leading to the reservation not being made or properly completed.

I suspect Royal is constantly looking at opportunities to break into new markets or tweak & find new ways, of making past markets more attractive & viable to its bottomline. One consideration is overnight stays in some major U.S. cities like SF or LA on 7N cruises to/fro Vancouver. Explorer ots have done that in the past...still, with the Amped project in play, this may make things more attractive. Also, a 4N and/or 5N sailing from LA to any Mex port & back may provide a more attractive alternative...same scenario out of San Diego. Finally, maybe invest & creating a private island like at Islas Coronado or Islas de Todos Santos, for an example. There are ways to increase the viability of the West Coast market imo; no doubt, a huge amount of capital would need to be invested, similar to their Private Island Initiative, they plan to build in certain markets around the world. Dubai have certainly shown how to construct artificial islands...if Royal want to go that route as well.

Could Melody OTS be the new name for the 5th Oasis Class Ship? If so, is it music to your ears or what name was you hoping for?

Well the thing is...it was said that O5 would not port in the Caribbean...which leads to the idea, its home port may be out of the thread title.

Royal may be in the process as we speak, if not a topic of discussing, parting ways & replacing it with another named venue.
