  1. @KeithB Welcome to the forums!!!!
  2. Is it a large balance, or might it be the difference in port fees?
  3. I just received my refund for the Brilliance Group Cruise today (in full - which was only the deposit). Still waiting on the refund from the cruise planner items, as well as the refund for other cruise planner items for my Odyssey sailing that I canceled on May 9. I honestly didn't expect the deposit back on the fare until well into July.
  4. I'm sadder to read this than I am about canceled cruises ?
  5. They just released all of the replacement Allure sailings (from when she was supposed to sail from Galveston). Maybe they are adding them to the site and they need to take it down to do it? This is the message I usually get one Saturday night/Sunday morning a month when they undergo site maintenance.
  6. I was on Symphony in Feb of this year and used my Wow band (and occasionally my Sea Pass card) and never once was given a receipt to sign. Actually, I didn't on Symphony, Navigator (Dec '19) or Ovation (June '19).
  7. That's great!! They offer other kinds of discounts but rarely apply them (police, for instance. And maybe never, now that they are public enemy #1).
  8. Well, they do pay some taxes, just not the way people think they should pay. https://cruiseradio.net/fact-check-do-cruise-lines-pay-us-taxes/
  9. I don't understand how they are sailing the Bliss and Joy in September in Alaska.
  10. https://www.cruiseindustrynews.com/cruise-news/23100-norwegian-oceania-and-regent-cancel-august-and-september-sailings.html?fbclid=IwAR1BA4xwOwm7yuNZ2VwM8O8jJUNdq-9lWtigvHLWOOCeV0RpJRA5Tdi9BNI
  11. Which is why they won't take the precautions necessary, and will be asymptomatic and bring it into my workplace. They know they won't have any ill effects and don't care or believe that they are putting some of the rest of us at risk. It's all about them.
  12. We did the escape room on Symphony last February. My husband enjoyed it. He's much smarter than me. I'm clearly an idiot - it was just painful to be in the room and not understand anything that was going on for 45 minutes (or whatever it was).
  13. This seems like a much more civilized solution (and impressed that you remember the number).
  14. Symphony, Mariner and Navigator have dedicated escape rooms (among others).
  15. I canceled a Cruise Planner purchase that wasn't even associated with any canceled sailing and they told me 45 days ?
  16. Yes, but they never charged us the additional upcharge on Symphony last February. We were prepared. They were tipped well instead.
  17. That is really unhelpful to me when deciding how long they mean to take to refund the money. I'd rather know what other's experiences have been (was it 30 calendar or 30 businesses). Knowing what you believe is fair isn't helpful at all.
  18. Sales are always happening. Just keep an eye on the website. Once you book you can always get your cruise prepriced if the fare drops in a subsequent sale.
  19. I'm swapping out my Allure 2022 sailing for Symphony, Jan 29, 2022 (Somehow got it priced $900 less for than Allure!)
