Will still have it, just waiting to see if anyone else replies to my roll call poll / post on the People Connect forum. I figure when it's a few days away from sailaway, I'll update the thread with a final place and time to see if that works for everyone.

Must be the season for these kinds of bookings. I splurged on the JS I have booked on Anthem, partly because it's just the wife and me so I could afford to bump us up a bit, partly to get a sense of the benefits on Anthem and make the short trip a little more fun in that regard, partly because I want to get to Platinum ASAP and the double points on this short 5-nighter help with that! ?
If there's truly a 2020 CA/NE group cruise, I'll definitely be booking inside or OV cabin for that, unless a wave sale comes along that makes the balcony rooms same price as OV. Budget won't allow anything more expensive.

I know how you feel. I normally book inside or window(sometimes) but this coming cruise I booked a Balcony to celebrate reaching Diamond Member. I am so excited and can wait for my trip. I always take my 6 years old with me (only child) so that is added up quick on the room price.

Who said I was able to afford this?  ?
This is a splurge trip,  which is part of the reason why I'm asking so many questions - so I can squeeze out every penny of fun and perks I have coming to me!  I'll be in the balcony cabin right next to you soon enough.  But like folks on this thread have said, how much fun is had is not at all connected to the room you stay in.

Star Class suites are often available early but often Sky Class follows the ship (at least on Oasis class, I haven't done sky class on Anthem)

Worst case - as soon as you board head to Boleros one deck down using the circular staircase right in front of you after stepping onto the ship.  There you will find the box office staff in a temporary setup to book exactly these types of reservations.  On a B2B in December I was first in line at Boleros and got all my reservations when they never showed up despite daily checking before sailing.

I better get a thank you card from the RCCL shareholders for what I'm contributing to this years profit margin with this cruise.

Breakfast room service menu is standard across the feet. Also, keep in mind you'll be charged bar price for a Bloody Mary via room service even if you have a drink package.

I had an iFly reservation that I since canceled, I've gone skydiving so changed my mind. There will be reservations available, I'd go to those areas once you've boarded.

To answer your question on the champagne, I'm not a huge fan, so 2 bottles would be a bit much.  But if I have to take one for the team and have an extra glass or two, so be it!

North Star should definitely be in service while in port. I'm on the same sailing, and while I have a reservation for North Star it's during a sea day; never once saw it available for advance reservations on the port days. I don't know if it's just a matter of not allowing it so everyone has a chance while in port, or if I just discovered the availability a little too late (even though I made my reservation the same morning it showed up in my Cruise Planner), but I'm also going to see about getting in line at 8:30 on the second port day and hoping they have a couple open spots. I imagine seeing Bermuda from the North Star would be pretty impressive.
iFly should be open while in port as well; I saw reservations for that as well the same day I booked North Star, but availability was pretty limited for all days. It's possible they're booked solid now, but you can check with one of the staff and see if they had any cancellations or have any unbooked slots left. Do be aware with the iFly that you only get one minute in the thing; the rest of the time is suiting up, getting prepped / hearing the safety speech, waiting your turn, etc. If you want someone to take video, they have to do it from outside the main area where everyone is waiting their turn. If that someone happens to also be doing the iFly with you, they'll have to wait outside while you take your turn, and then you'll switch places so the other person gets their turn.

    1.  I understand your wife's glee at having the "Sky Class" on her set sail pass.  It's a wonderful sight, indeed !  I have been reading lately that some peoples' boarding passes are missing the "Suites" markings.  It seems a great mystery to me.  In fact, all of our upcoming cruises (where the set sail passes and luggage tags are ready) are also missing the "suites" designation.  That isn't going to stop us from boarding in the Suites line, believe me !!  At least one of you has the Suites designation.
    2.  Room service will NOT deliver drinks to your room, unfortunately.  They WILL bring coffee.  I have not yet been on Anthem but on the other ships I have sailed lately, there has been a bloody mary bar out on the promenade.  I'm afraid you would have to retrieve your bloody mary yourself.  One caution. While we have not yet sailed on Anthem, the drinks, in general, and the bloody marys, in particular, built by the robo bartenders were horrific.
    3.  No direct knowledge of the Anthem activities, so no help her except to say that I would ask the Concierge for his/her advice. Perhaps he or she could help you get a reservation.
    4.  Yes, the Sky Class suites amenities are pretty much the same as the other full suite with one notable exception.  I do believe that all Sky class pax get free Voom internet on the Q and O class ships where they do not on the other ship classes.  Also, for pax on the Q and O class ships, you will have the suites lounge that is open 11AM - 11PM and will have water, soda and limited alcohol available during that period where the other class ships' suites lounge is basically closed all day until the "happy" hour.  I know this is true of the O class ships...not entirely certain about the Anthem but I think their suites lounge is the same.  Since you mentioned a small "gathering" let me mention here that you are eligible for room service in your suite at any time while the MDR is open.  Therefore, if you wanted to get some "munchies" brought to your room for your guests, do so during normal MDR operating hours.  They will bring as much as you want.  I would recommend talking to the Concierge as they can help you get the kinds of munchies (the kind of things that are generally in the Lounges during "happy" hours) that would be suitable for a small party in your suite.  There is no charge for this unless you want servers or alcohol. As for the bubbly...not entirely sure.  We always have bubbly waiting for us but I'm not sure it is a function of our C&A level, the casino or the fact that we are in a suite.  I would bring my own just in case.  What's wrong with having 2 bottles ?!  Ask your room attendant to bring you a champagne bucket with ice.  Oftentimes the champagne will already be on ice (if you have a good attendant).  Other times, it's not.
    5.  In Bermuda, the shops and the casino will be closed while you are in port BUT (at least on Grandeur) the casino will open at around 8-9 (can't remember the exact time) on nights when you are in port.  To my knowledge, the shops remain closed.
Enjoy your suite.  You will be ruined hereafter, but that's just the price you will pay for being SO smart !

Can’t answer the drinking questions (not drinkers) but can tell you that when the ship is in port all shops and the casino are closed. They will open again as soon as they leave port.  Enjoy your cruise ? ☺️

No worries! If you can, just put those preferences in the poll so I can keep track of that (questions 2 and 3 are multiple choice). Depending on how many end up replying, I'll try and follow up on this thread with a final day and time that we can shoot for, based on what works for most.

Where is this master calendar you speak of?  Found it!
    As for a meet up...
    1. Yes
    2. I don't want to go to a place where the drinks have been described as 'awful'.  I would prefer a full bar as opposed to Vintages.  But I'm totally new here and all...
    3. Bermuda Day 2 evening is the best for me.  Unless it's Sea evening 1 and you catch me between CT and the show in 270
Jamie and I will probably be staying on the boat for much of the time in Bermuda so we'll be day drinking somewhere if anyone is around then as well.
Try as I might, my schedule is quickly filling!  My first cruise and everyone told me to not overbook.  At least most of our activities are centered around booze and food.
