Upgrade room category after final payment?
Bakerette replied to cellyn's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
You can try putting in a few bids through RoyalUp for staterooms that were more then the one that you chose when you booked the cruise. If your bid was accepted for one of the staterooms that you had bid on or all of the staterooms that you had places a bid on was denied,W Royal Caribbean will email 2 days before your cruise to let you know if your bid was accepted or declined. If your bid was accepted Royal Caribbean will charge the amount of the bid to the card that you used to make the bid with. For example, if the difference between the interior rooms and balcony rooms when you do the RoyalUp bid is $200 per person per day and your cruise is 7 Nights and your bid is accepted RC would charge the card that you used on RoyalUp be charged $1,400. If declined they will place you in a stateroom in a location that you yourself would not have selected at the time of booking if you choose to select your room location but if your bids have been declined they will put you in whatever stateroom is available in category that you selected, but not in the same location that you had selected at the time of the booking. -
If your arriving at the terminal in the same vehicle then you will be arriving at the same time. Years ago I went on a cruise with 2-3 other people and I checked in all people on my reservation at the same time and we had to arrive to the terminal at the same time since the checkin documents were all combined into one checkin paper that had to be scanned when we arrived @ the terminal and received our sea pass cards at the cruise terminal. On my most recent cruise in April I had checked in myself and my mom (who was the only two people on the reservation) and I used the digital set sail passes on the app and we had to arrive at the same time because we had the same arrival time @ the cruise terminal.

Since your daughter got her first passport when she was 6 months old and does not look close to the same, then what I would do is either renew her passport and take a new photo for the passport. Instead of taking the passports off the ship make copies of the page with pictures of each person on the reservation/booking and take the copies off the ship with you and leave the originals in the safe in your stateroom.

Yes, you and your friend can complete online checkin separately and at your own connivence and print your own sea passes and luggage tags. YOU AND YOUR FRIEND MUST ARRIVE AT THE CRUISE TERMINAL AT THE SAME TIME ON THE DAY OF EMBARKATION.

The rooms DO NOT come with an iron and you CANNOT bring one onboard because it is considered a fire hazard . If any of you clothing needs to be ironed you can pay for RCI to press those items for you or just simply the pack some downy wrinkle release which would get rid of the wrinkles

Remember that instead of renewing for the passport booklet with is $110, you can renew for the passport card which is $30, the passport card has the same information on it just like the passport booklet, and the passport card is the same size as a credit card,

I have made ice with filtered water & tap water before using the ice cube trays and I have never seen a divot or indent in the ice. I have a refrigerator with a built in ice maker that uses filtered water to make the ice, which is straight on the top & sides & is rounded like a semicircle on the bottom.

On Board Credit for Spa Services?
Bakerette replied to MKSglitz's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
On Board Credit can be used to purchase anything on the cruise planner in advance including spa services. If you purchase anything onboard the ship the amount of onboard credit that you had when you embarked on the ship will be shown on you onboard expense account and at the end of the cruise the OBC (on board credit) will be subtracted from the amount that you owe at the end of the cruise. I was considering booking a manicure and the price that I saw said “from $39.00” and when I click add to cart and proceeded to make the manicure appointment for day 1 I noticed that the prices was “$50.00 for days 1,3-7 and three of those days was port days, three more days was sea days and the 1st day was @ the cruise terminal & there was no early appointments available for the 7th day and the lowest price of $39.00 is for all available times on day 2. -
Half day cococay water park pass gone?
Bakerette replied to Constantino's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
It’s disappeared from my December and Aril sailings, too. I was gonna book the half day pass for my mom and I yesterday for either 1 or both of the sailings but I did not see the half day pass on either sailing and I was not going to pay for a full day pass when the ship departs from CocoCay way before sunset. Why would RC remove the half day pass and not the full day pass if the ships aren’t docked at CocoCay for the entire day. Since the ships are docked there for only a 1/3rd of the day why would they not remove the full day pass and keep the half day pass? -
Cafe Latte-Tudes and deluxe beverage package
Bakerette replied to spursfreak21's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
You can use the deluxe beverage package at cafe-latitudes to cover the cost of your coffee. -
I will be boarding Harmony on Sunday, and when I choose a Central Park balcony room because I read under what is included with the Central Park balcony cabins is a bottle of red wine, a free learn to play casino gaming session, and lunch at Jamie’s Italian, Sabor, or Johnny Rockets. What I want to know is how do I make reservations at one of those three restaurants for lunch??? Do I make the reservation for the included speciality restaurant that I would like to have lunch at online or do I wait till onboard the ship and then make the reservation for the restaurant where I would like to have lunch??

What is the last day to add to your cruise planner?
Bakerette replied to kimberlyelayne's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
The cruise planner is available until 3 days before your cruise. -
I have been to breakfast on disembarkation morning with all of my luggage and have had breakfast at the windjammer a few times and also had breakfast at the MDR once. All the times I been on cruises I had breakfast on the morning of disembarkation and I had carried all of my luggage with me to breakfast. When I was done eating I had self disembarked from the ships between 8am - 9am. I had also carried my luggage with me to lunch in the windjammer on embarkation day of all the cruises I had been on.

That is the exact same travel adapter that I purchased for my cruise last December and I plan on being the adapter on my next cruise in about 2 weeks. On my cruise last December I had brought a travel adapter and it was not confiscated because I put the adapter in my checked luggage and I was not called down to the naughty room.

I am going on RC’s Harmony in 18 days and I have watched a lot of YouTube videos where people have the wow bands and use the band in place/in addition to using their sea pass card. I know that the wow bands can be used with your sea pass card and I am considering purchasing 1 for me & 1 for my mom, but I would like to know what the opinions of others are who the wow bands are if you have used them before and if they would be easier to use then the sea pass card. Please tell me the difference between using wow bands VS. using sea pass card.

Can we visit St. Maarten, San Juan on our own, No Excursions booked?
Bakerette replied to GWENSEL's topic in Shore Excursions
If you download the Royal Caribbean app and check the ship time (when going ashore at the ports of call). Use the ship time that is located in the upper left hand corner to check the time when ashore at the ports of call so that you can be back onboard the ship before the ship leaves the dock. When you are on the ship there is no need to open the Royal Caribbean app to check the ship time because you can just check the time on the home screen of your cell phone since the time on your cell phone would be the same time that the Royal Caribbean app says. The ship time on the app was useful to me so that when I got off the ship at ports of call I would be back on board before the ship left the dock. Port of Miami is 3 Hours to 4.5 hours away from Orlando. I live 2 hours south of Orlando and 2.5 hours north of Miami. I have been to Miami twice and Orlando at least a dozen or more times, so it does take 3 hours to 4.5 hours without traffic, delays, detours, and making stops.

Your credit card may not have had enough room left on your credit card to cover the remanding balance or you did not have enough money in your bank account to have enough money in the account for RC to receive your final remaining balance on your upcoming cruise. If I was in your situation I would immediately call RC/TA and inquire if your cruise balance has been paid.

Cruising with friends ... breaking up expenses
Bakerette replied to SpeedNoodles's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
I have cruised with friends and family before in the same stateroom and when I completed online checkin for myself and my friends and family, I linked a credit card to mine and one family members seapass card, and had selected cash for the other people on the reservation and when we went to the checkin counter at the cruise port to have our pictures take and to receive individual seapass cards, then my friends and other family members who did not have the same credit card linked to there seapass could have there own debit/credit card linked to their own seapass card. on the last night of the the cruise you will receive the bill for each of the payment methods that is on file for each person in the stateroom (expect if more then one person has the same debit/credit card to their seapass card). If one person wants to pay with cash then they should head to guest services with their bill and pay their bill with cash. If all the people in the stateroom have a credit/debit card linked to their seapass account then the amount that your charges to your seapass would be billed to the card that you put on file when you checked in and the amount on your bill will be charged to your credit/debit card. -
I agree with you/your sister, in the hopes that CATS will get changed to a different musical or even comedy shows. Ive seen about 5 minutes of CATS when the musical started and I did not like what I saw of the CATS musical so I decided to leave the theater and go somewhere else instead of watching the entire CATS musical.

I went on a Caribbean cruise in early December 2018 and I agree with the things that @Lovetocruise2002 said abound not only about her cruise in December but all winter cruises. I have been on 4 cruises, 2 of them in the summer, 1 in mid fall, 1 in late fall and 1 in the winter. I did not enjoy the 3 cruises that I went on in the summer because it was mostly hot and humid and muggy. But I did I like the 2 fall better then the summer cruise because it was not as hot or humid/muggy, I loved the cruise that I took in December because even through it was winter it was not cold but that could just be because I had cruises to the Caribbean. Also the Caribbean ocean RC’s pool’s was warm. The Caribbean waters are warm, but if you are to go swimming in the Florida waters at first the water is cold but when you have been swimming in the Florida waters for a few minutes the cold Floridia waters will now feel warm.

I believe that your friend should be able to watch the 2019 ncaa basketball tournament games since there is a sports bar called ON AIR on allure where sports fans can watch there favorite sports games while on the ship. hope that information helps and that your friend can also watch the 2019 ncaa basketball tournament games while onboard the ship.

I might be purchasing a WoWband for myself and also purchase one for my mother when her and I board Harmony next month I know that wowbands can be worn on the wrist and being used in addition to the seapass card, but what I would love to know is when going ashore would the people at the boarding area of the ship scan the WoWbands when going ashore and when coming back onto the ship or would I need to have my seapass be scanned when leaving and boarding the ship at the ports of call? Also, on disembarkation day (the day the ship get back into the ships homeport) would the WOWband or seaspass card be scanned when I disembark the ship?

The same is also true for Port Canaveral, select RC terminals at port everglades, port of Tampa and port of Miami. Even if you checkin online you still have to walk through security, and at different cruise terminals you still have to checkin with a representative. I had to checkin with a representative at the terminal in Port Canaveral even through I had checked in online.
