Went to Park Cafe on Radiance of the Seas this past July and asked for the Kummelweck sandwich. He looked at me like I was speaking another language. He had no idea what I was talking about. I asked "do you have a roast beef sandwich on a roll?" I was handed a roast beef sandwich, on a roll. There were no sauces or juices served on the side or on the sandwich.

Perhaps try Giovanni's for one night. Their Eggplant Parmesan IS. THE. BOMB! Having done ROS southbound this past July (2019), I would either do a 3 Night Dining (to get Izumi in the mix) or just one night in Giovanni's. And, I agree, the WJ is great, too. Having the UDP on ROS was too much. Don't bother with Samba. Meh to blah. We are going back to Alaska on Serenade of the Seas July 2021 and this is the strategy we will take next time. 3 Night Dining Package + Windjammer.

I definitely give the nod to Geovanni's! We ate at Chops for embarkation and a dinner and then three times at Geovanni's. It was THAT good and that much better than Chops. Where's the beef? At Geovanni's!

This past July (2019) DH and DS did the Fly-out Fly Fishing excursion. While they did that, I bought the tramway pass on the CP, saved roughly $4. Once to the top, I hiked all the trails in the morning. Loved it. Saw eagles and a porcupine. After coming back down, I went to Tracy's for crab at 11:30AM. Walked right up to the counter to place my order. 15 minutes later, the line was at least 50 ft long outside the door. Going back in 2021 and the three of us, plus a friend of my son, will be doing the exact same thing. Fly-out Fly Fishing for them and tram, hiking, and Tracy's for me. Can't wait!

I've been watching my 3 booked cruises. No price drops, yet.

FWIW, In my other life, back in 1990's, I did my epidemiology internship at the CDC&P in Atlanta. Now, When I finish my day teaching, upon returning home, I immediatly throw my clothes in the wash with Lysol Laundry Sanitizer and take a shower. Short of weari g a mask, there's not kuch more one can do during flu season.

They are chapped, dry, and scratched up. When not at home doing bookkeeping and payroll for our rental business, I substitute teach at a Catholic elementary and middle school. Needless to say, I wash, wash, wash, and wash some more. I work in the hot zone 3 to 5 days a week.

Currently battling the flu. Started Tamiflu today with 103 temp. I've slept all day. Not feel much better, but a tad. By Wednesday, I should feel a lot better. My eyeballs even hurt. I looked at it this way, I'm just getting this out of the way for our upcoming cruise in 26 days. Ugh. Yes, I had the quadrivalent flu shot late October. Meh.

I'm hearing crickets. . .

I think this world needs more big game fishing boat captains!

I've updated my app today, and it still doesn't show. It does show my muster station on my set sail pass in the app. Our sailing is March 22 on Oasis.

Sounds like bait and switch, to me. Too harsh? I don't know. I guess if you have the CP confirmation in hand, they could give you a refund, but that's not the point, IMHO.

Or is this the surcharge that has to do with the upgraded protein option?

I book the cruise ASAP, then I mock book flights using comparable months (travel seasons), if possible. For Southwest, I book ASAP. For nonsouthwest, I watch and wait (unless it is a long flight and I care about our seat choices). I also use the Hopper app, which tracks flight costs. Useful app.
