Name something GOOD that has come out of the CV isolation.

That money is going to a mere balcony instead of a suite so the garage doesn't turn into a Solarium swimming pool? -
Do you also think I should be required to show a certificate of vaccination for MMR? Oh, wait - they didn't give "certificates" in the 60's when I had SEPARATE shots for measles (both kinds) or for when I suffered a case of the mumps. How about proof that I got a flu shot this year if sailing during flu "season" as well? Even if a vaccine is developed, there is no way the cruise lines will require "proof" that each passenger received it (or already recovered from the disease).

Saved about 250 miles worth of gas per week between our two cars. Not as much benefit as it would be for some because one is a hybrid getting 50+ mpg. -
If you're at a nudist camp, why would either party have on pants?

Website issues? Today and (seemingly) EVERY day that ends in a "y."

My deadline is whenever I feel is needed to look acceptably appropriate for our son's wedding on Labor Day weekend. Until then - mask required to be worn by me = no visit to Great Clips.
-
Required masks is my deal breaker. Currently, I choose to not frequent any establishment that requires masks while going to similar places where it is optional. As badly as I need a haircut (needed one around April 1 but all places to get it done properly were closed until this weekend), I will put it off until the current "masks must be worn by all" requirement for salons and barber shops is lifted.

Decide quickly and use the Lift & Shift option for when she'll be better able to enjoy herself. -

Pimento cheese is an aberration that should be banished along with "barbecue sauce" based on vinegar or mustard. No, I'm not a native of the Tar Heel State - and I find much of the "cuisine" to be curious at best. -

Is pay and continued employment in corporate functions tied to performance? If so, how do you continue to have such an incompetent IT department and inconsistent customer service? If not, why not? -

I NEVER have difficulty finding a seat in WJ for breakfast. Of course, by the end of the cruise if there are already ten people in the WJ before I arrive the washy-washy folks say they were worried because I'm late! -

Okay, maybe we CAN be friends. Medium rare is the way to go for these items. I suppose you would use overcooked bacon on your medium rare bacon cheeseburger, but I'll have to let that slide. We'll have to agree to disagree on pork products (medium is the way to go - for anything from pork loin to bacon). -
I disagree that the argument doesn't stand. The muster station you are assigned is where you are to go in the event of an emergency. If that happens to be right by your lifeboat - great. On the larger ships, there isn't room for everyone to gather on the deck so some assigned stations are at large indoor locations on the correct deck. THAT is where you will go in an emergency, so you need to know where to be.

#what-a-waste-of-perfectly-good-pork Next you'll tell me you order your filet mignon "very well done" then send it back to be "cooked just a little bit more." -
Right near the dock is a fantastic miniature golf course - Bermuda Fun Golf. http://www.fungolf.bm/ First six holes are mini replicas of famous Bermuda golf holes, next six are famous US golf holes (the 9th hole on this course goes straight out at the ocean just like its inspiration - #7 at Pebble Beach), and the final six from Scotland (the 18th is the Road Hole from St. Andrews).

We can never be friends. Bacon is supposed to be soft and chewy! Extra crispy is a fried chicken option. -
We're well past the 20 day point for our cruise planner refund notices with no $$ in sight. There is a great deal of inconsistency with the process. And the May 6 email indicating that our cruise price refunds should be expected by the end of last week? Smoke and mirrors - haven't received anything. Again - inconsistency.

I'll be more than okay with having my plateful of food served to me as soon as the WJ opens in the morning, especially if I have a young grandchild with me. Not easy carrying a toddler and juggling a plate to feed myself and the young 'un. -
Sadly, my favorite after-dinner drink on the cruises no longer exists in its purest form. Loved the daily special layered drinks in the special shooter glasses you could keep. We have quite the collection of those glasses and have parties for our friends where we serve different layered drinks we've tried over the years.

Regardless of what you decide wrt booking flights, you need to get the hotel reservation made now. November in South Florida fills up fast.

Problem is - Grandeur is going away. Price drop almost certainly won't happen.
