MCO to port canaveral with little kids - advice?
Pooch replied to RoseFlower's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Not sure a bubble bum inflatable booster would be appropriate for a 3 year old. Try Cortrans or Cruise Control Transportation. They have likely dealt with car seat issues before. -
On Harmony, the trick was not to stop at the first section. Took til day 3-4 to realize more tables & better selection if you just keep walking around to the other side.

Danette left MEI a couple of years ago. I was then moved to Emily. Now she’s leaving too. IS IT ME?!?!?!

Are rooms 12600 & 12598 on Wonder of Seas really mid-ship?

And those are hump cabins so bigger than normal balconies! -
Try not to look like a slob, you’ll be fine

See hubby doesn’t appreciate how great a wife he has. I HATE to shop except for the grandkids and during our biannual trips to Kittery where I buy just enough clothes to get me through to the next trip. I don’t like or wear jewelry, expensive bags, shoes or perfumes. My idea of vacation shopping (besides the grands!) is an Xmas ornament or fridge magnet. Maybe some spices or special coffee blends. Can’t force me into a jewelry store.

Today’s SWA deal. Our $166 flights down dropped to $88 each and the flights back that started at 17,365 points each dropped to 2655 this morning!!! System would not let me make the changes so I called & they did it manually over the phone. Those prices disappeared 30 minutes later. Do you think the $18 DBP intern is working for SWA now?!?!!

Absolutely! I cannot travel in an interior room due to severe claustrophobia. I have to have space, light and air or I have panic attacks. I have been known to sleep on a lounger on the balcony for the fresh air!

I get the reason for it, I just think the room is too narrow to be divided like that. The living area is just too cramped. Now moving up to an owners suite is a totally different animal. There’s plenty of room for that divider there! Even with the sofa bed open AND a rollaway, still plenty of room.

Gotta say I’m not a fan of that privacy wall. It makes both sides very narrow. I get the idea, just don’t think it works in a GS. Now the OS? Totally different story!

OS on Harmony in March for my family of 4 adults. It was a lift & shift from a much smaller ship so an EXCELLENT price protected deal. My 2 cents: large room & balcony was very nice for 4 people, maybe not necessary for 2. free WiFi was good so we could text each other during the day suite deck as noted above cabanas get hot & frankly liked the Solarium area better had DBP so drinks in SL didn’t matter Underwhelmed with CK concierge did almost nothing for us. The couple of requests I made were not fulfilled. getting escorted off the ship after a quick breakfast in CK was terrific & IMHO the best perk. But I wouldn’t pay $3000 for it. I believe we are on your cruise and have also opted for JS this time.

Check in is whatever time it is at the port. If it’s docked in Florida and it’s 10am at that port, it’s 10am on the ship. Once on board, ship time will NOT change if you travel between time zones and all times for activities, arrival, departure stays on ships time.

Yes they (and I) do.

Either call RC or contact your TA.

Yeah, never mind. My reply would not be appreciated.

Perhaps not the time to cruise to/through Canada right now

Ok so Royal has the information now you have to provide it to Canada. One is not the other

And my brother’s first cruise too! Originally 3/21 on Rhapsody then did a lift & shift to Harmony. That’s how we got the OS. It was half price with the price protection. Day before, weather up & down the east coast. We were able to get a flight out. He & his son had 3 flights canceled on them at 3 different airports. Felt terrible that we got to go & they didn’t.

We bought a 3 day transportation pass. Gave us unlimited access to bus/ferry system for the 3 days we were docked. Took buses to Crystal Caves & the aquarium. Ferry from Kings Wharf to Hamilton and St George. The passes were very cheap & we had a great time interacting with the locals especially the young school kids! It was a terrific way to visit Bermuda.
