    I Was On My Last Cruise And Was Talking To Some Who Is Big In The Industry And He Said With More Ships The Cheaper The Cost Of Going On A Cruise.

    I hope the more ships the cheaper will be for cruising. I paid almost the same amount as me for 6 years old that not even eat much. So this RCI big spending really scares me a bit. Since 2000 I had only been sailed with RCI and coming in April will be the first time ever I will sailing with other cruise lines (MSC) for the Mediterranean cruise. I looked at the cost of the fare with RCI and the airfare and It was too expensive to book it. It will cost us almost double to book with RCI so we end up with MSC Bellissima. It is the brand new ship with MSC in April is a month old. Hope I make the right decision. However, this trip the ship is not my destination.

    Just saw this posted over on CC as well....doesn't surprise me at all. But what does surprise me is the amount of money this must cost and how much higher cruises fares will have to go to finance all this.

    I like the idea of switching ships in some cases..but that sounds like it will be only for the suite guests which wont include me. And up to 10 more ships to be ordered??! I don't think that kinda demand is there...especially when all the cruise lines are building these massive ships.

    I still say that at some point all this spending and increase capacity is going to come back to bite Royal. Everything goes in cycles and when it turns back down, that's a lot of islands and boats to pay for.....

    Agree, I think RCI moving too fast. It needs to slow down a bit on spending.

    We haven't see a pin yet, not that it's a big deal to us.  It would be nice to get the beach towels though, maybe when we hit diamond...We're just 3 points shy of that, which we will take care of in a few days.

    I was Diamond on my last cruise and got nothing. Not even a pin.

    Hi RTripp.....

    Thanks so much for your reply.  I did notice the number of people on the checkout page.  We actually have 9 of us, but 4 of them are little kids.  So, I was hoping to be able to squeeze one more in.  I wonder how strict they are with numbers in a cabana?  Like I said we have nine, but 4 are little kids.

    This question, the answers here can be either yes or no. I suggest you email Royal Caribbean directly or message them on Facebook on this question. Royal should be the one answer you better on this. RCI Facebook normally answers the question really quick. If RCI said yes then you can print out the message of their reply so in case of the problem while you are on the Island.

    Not even close.   Many younger than me.  Besides, it'll be 2021 likely.  I can't repeat 2018 again.

    2018 = 15 cruises.         2019 = 14 cruises.     It is not repeat ?

    Did you get the points even though you missed one cruise? Hope ! you are because you paid for it.

    My lifetime goals just a Diamond +.

    I love Central Park.  I often book a cabin on decks 6, 7 or 8 so that I have easy access to Central Park, especially at night.

    I had never been on Oasis class so exciting will be sailing in October with Symphony and sure I will enjoy Central Park.

    @twangster how many points are you in C&A? You maybe be the youngest ever to make to Pinnacle ?
