That is the ABSOLUTE truth!!! I have been waiting in line to get a few things settled on several cruises and it was pretty funny just listening to what had happened to several fellow cruisers! From the amount of "lost" towels that the kids were leaving all over the ship to steep charges on the sea pass card that the kids used in the arcade. Its downright crazy what happens onboard.

I am not sure about that particular ship as we have never sailed on her before but I can tell you that we were on Anthem in April and we were able to have only dinner in the CK, you may want to check once you get onboard. I have read the other thread and it seems as if things change from ship to ship and depending on the availability. I can tell you that we had dinner in the MDR two nights, wife was unsure and was afraid to try something new. After the first night in the MDR I convinced her to try CK the next evening and she fell in love, the third night we were back in the MDR and needless to say after dinner that evening we were able to reserve our spot for the rest of the week in the CK without any issues. Needless to say after that trip I am a CK junkie and will try to book our next cruise on a ship with one, and in a suite so we can eat there the whole week! GOOD LUCK and HAPPY CRUISING!!!?

Not going to rehash the whole WOW band vs Seapass card but they both have their positives and negatives, I am a fan of the WOW band and used both during our cruise on Anthem in April. I have ours saved in our cruise bag and will be quick to bring them out and have them re-programmed or traded out on the next ship we sail on that has the ability to use them.?

Ok just for the record if I ever get the opportunity to meet you on a group cruise just go ahead and expect a hug from me for that idea! Never would have thought about it but I also know that it would be an absolute wonderful dish!!! And yes I’m drooling now just thinking about it!! ?

Couldn’t agree more! We have stayed at both of these places and would HIGHLY recommend them. Rooms are good sized and the service was absolutely amazing! And it’s a 4 star hotel!

It was very creamy, almost like it was made with mascarpone or ricotta vs just regular cream cheese, the slice was HUGE and the pic did not do it justice I hope that you get to enjoy this wonderful slice of magical deliciousness!!!?

I am going to be honest I can not remember if it had a strong smell to it at first, but I can tell you that if it did, that the smell did not last long at all. Airing it out was just for packing purpose so it does not mold or mildew and waste your money. I know that some days it gets pretty wet from the residual water on the bottles of body wash or shampoo so we just make sure that when we get home to lay it out and make sure that it gets air dried prior to getting packed away in our "cruise stash"

We have used www.Goportcanaveral.com several times and have had great success each and every time. I can tell you that the next time we sail out of there I will use it again! HIGHLY recommend it!!

I say let them be closed minded, that's a few less people that I have to stand in line behind at embarkation, the Windjammer, and Bingo! I say don't sweat it, let them listen to Matt's recent podcast, and while you onboard book another vacation!!

Sign up one more for the CK! TRUST ME, once you have been to CK and you try to go back to the MDR you won't be very happy! I honestly couldn't believe the difference and am looking forward to my next CK experience! Even if the CK has the exact same meal that they are serving in the MDR it will be FAR better in CK. Try one night in each but just be ready to go ahead and book the rest of the cruise in the CK!!?

We have the one that I posted in my prior post, and I am going to tell you that it is good enough to hold several bottles of conditioner and shampoo, several average sized containers of body wash, face wash, cologne, perfume, hair gel, my shaving stuff, toothbrushes, toothpaste, a bottle of Poo pourri (just in case you don't know what it is.....https://www.amazon.ca/Poo-Pourri-Before-You-Go-Toilet-Bottle-Original/dp/B0108XRDJE/ref=sr_1_5?crid=3DC52TD75EO9&keywords=poo+pourri+toilet+spray&qid=1566477594&s=gateway&sprefix=poo+p%2Caps%2C131&sr=8-5) we will not cruise without it!! By the time we are done we have it almost full for four of us. and it handles the weight very well, unless you are going to store something absolutely HUGE in there I really would not worry about the pocket size. You will be surprised at how large the slots are! I wear a size 14US which is a 48.5 CDN if I am correct, and its large enough for me to fit my shoes in without any issues! Unless you are using the extremely large Costo sized bottles of stuff you won't have any issues. Hope this helps! ?

I can tell you that it is a good shake but it is not THAT good, a milkshake from Chick-fil-a will blow it out of the water! We usually get a buy one get one half off offer loaded onto our sea pass card and will usually splurge and get one then. That is about the only time that we get them other than if we have a meal there.

I will be perfectly honest with you, there is NO need to buy anything special, we have a cheap one that we got from Amazon, if you pay more than $15 then you are paying WAY too much! Just make sure that it gets aired out prior to packing it away and it will last quite some time! WONDERFUL!!! I just want to let you know that I am happy for you! I absolutely KNOW that you guys will have a great time! We were on Majesty of the Seas (smallest ship in the fleet) and still had an absolute amazing time. We sail on Brilliance on the 19th-23rd of December of this year and I can not wait! Wait until you see the menu for Christmas dinner.......

The purchase of The Key is going to depend on what stateroom class you are in as well as your current status with the C&A, I know others may say different but for us it just really is not worth the extra cost. We really do not need the internet access, and a few other features come with our choice of stateroom so it really just does not make financial sense to purchase it. But as previously stated it depends on you and a few other features. You may want to elaborate on your C&A level and what type of stateroom you are staying in, that may help others guide you to a definitive decision. ?

We did Majesty of the Seas over Christmas about two years ago and it was wonderful! I would not hesitate to do one again! That being said, we were suprised to find that they had so many people that wore Christmas themed pajamas, or tacky sweaters, or suits the day of Christmas! There were activities all over the ship, they had caroling, singing, shows, Santa managed to show up, decorations, it was absolutely amazing! I hate to say it because for me Christmas is all about family and extended family, but I have to say that I think that it was one of the best that I have had in quite a few years. Just do yourself a favor and book it and enjoy your Christmas holiday! ?

I absolutely LOVE the Oasis class, so far it is one of my favorites by far, but as much as I love that ship I also have to say that I love the smaller ones as well! There are a few things that I enjoy about them especially how much more open they are and all of the views of the ocean from the sitting areas inside. I honestly did not think that I would enjoy the smaller ships as much as I do, but now that I have been on several I can honestly say that I definitely see the charm in them, and will actually say that I find them a nice break from the Oasis class from time to time.

Price is the same, I enjoy pre paying my gratuities just because I enjoy knowing that I am not going to have a hefty bill at the end of the cruise. But as with quite a few things on a cruise it is a matter of personal preference!

I can not compare, but what I will say is that we went on Radiance of the Seas and had an absolutely AMAZING time, but having been on Anthem and coming out of NJ, I can DEFINITELY see where there is an advantage when it is a little bit colder. That being said I would not complain on either one! I would not hesitate to book an AK cruise on either one of the ships. It was absolutely AMAZING and I can tell you that while the ship was nice, I would honestly go back even if the only ship that was sailing there was Majesty of the Seas! Trust me you will see, and understand once you get there! I have enjoyed every single cruise I have been on, and seen some amazing things but AK absolutely took our breath away!
