Thank you, Kayla! I'm probably going to play it by ear that day, and may or may not return to the ship for dinner. I'm cruising solo for both of my next cruises, so I'll have the advantage of my own itinerary :) I really want to maximize my time in San Juan, as this is my first ever port visit.

Not to hijack @JLMoran's great thread, but my December cruise on Adventure is scheduled for a late (1 pm) port arrival and departure (9 pm). I'm really excited to explore this great city on foot on my own, but I'm wondering how this will impact my early seating dinner in the MDR. What do people usually do? Do they skip MDR and eat dinner in San Juan? Thanks ahead in advance!

@Sabrinaklai, you might get a kick out of this: my co-worker, who is sailing on Anthem on the 18th, actually asked me a few minutes ago "what ship am I sailing on again?" Oh, first-time cruisers... And, yes, @melski94, you should totally do a live blog on Harmony if you can, as I am always excited to read trip reports with photos!

Thankfully, the studio staterooms for my two cruises were much cheaper than standard staterooms. 8 night EC on Adventure (Dec 8th, 2018): paid $951 Cdn with taxes and port fees for studio interior Current price for interior: (My category has since sold out and TA told me not to anticipate a price drop.) 8 night WC on Harmony (Dec 8th, 2019): paid $1335 Cdn with taxes and port fees for studio ocean view (only $100 difference between studios interior and OV, so YOLO book it I did :D) Current price for interior (standard OV are not populating for me): Your point is definitely worth taking into consideration, but, given a choice between price and double C&A points, I would go with the price. (I thought the cost difference between the two studio categories was minimal, hence my booking OV over interior.)

Aw, thank you! Unfortunately I did not take a ton of photos of the ship and around the ship, majority of them were taken with people I met onboard LOL. This will all change when I do my live blog on Adventure much later this year :)

I was curious as to whether I still kept my Sea Pass card and other goodies from my first cruise in 2008 on Sovereign of the Seas...and I did! Enjoy this blast from the past!
