Sailed Summit to Bermuda in May.
What sailing, we are on May 12th? Also Celebrity Suite, which I have to say did not care for, it was too claustrophic with all the furniture and the bedroom felt seriously claustrophobic, curious what your thought were? Maybe it was just me! LOL. I actually prefer the Sky Suite! LOL. We love Celebrity too, but also love Royal as well. Haven't sailed on any Oasis class which I'm very hesitant to do, like smaller like Summit and Grandeur..

I was told yes by both my Celebrity person and Royal person, although haven't tried it yet. I'm booking next cruise this week on Grandeur as the savings seem pretty signifcant unless it's a "bait and Switch" deal! LOL

They are both excellent but I think Frances is just a notch better. Nothing wrong with Carlington though !
Interesting, I asked for several items and he got back to me right away, made reference that it was our 25th anniversary etc. Francis never did that and didn't get back to me till days later. We shall see! LOL

I think this is great but again I really wish they would publish and standardize all perks across the fleet. Otherwise guests end up with incorrect expectations when booking ship to ship.
Carlington said he just implemented it on Grandeur so who knows. It makes sense I guess. Celebrity, if you're a Suite guest you can have lunch in Lumanae. We shall see! February, there was no option on Grandeur so booked Chops for lunch and paid for it but that was before they were offering the Key on Grandeur.

Got the email from Concierge this morning! @WAAAYTOOO, interesting, new Concierge, Carlington Barry? Is anyone familiar with him? He just implemented Suite guest get lunch in Main Dining room on Embarkation day which is great, we always booked Chops and had to pay for it. So far, Everything I've requested he's already returned my emails and confirmed bookings. We are so excited to be on this trip, hoping for no new huge issues with hubby! Our 25th Anniversary sailing into Boston Harbor where we got married!!

Very tempting thoughts on here, going to talk my husband tonight about what to do..
I think you should go for it. It might just give you the right amount of time just for Brenna. Lord knows we all need some time just being us!!
And thank you for your kind words!

I'm in a situation that my husband will not be able travel much longer due to illness (although leaving on Grandeur next thursday for our 25th Anniversary!). I've asked him if he would be ok with my cruising solo and he's all for it! I've been looking at several, especially the "Not official Group Cruise on Allure March 2021). I was in the travel business for 20 years so I'm used to traveling by myself. Bermuda is so safe and wonderful too! DO IT!! YOLO!!!!!!!

Just saw this elsewhere, not sure if anyone else knows what's going on?
The Empress of the seas that was next to enter the bay of San Juan, Puerto Rico is late, just turned and cancel its entrance to our port when it was already 3 miles sea outside.
This is due to the violent demonstrations that have emerged in the last hours in old San Juan

Either ask the Concierge to order your breakfast for you or ask the Concierge for a number to call where you will get someone to answer (they have their own points of contact) ! Make sure you tell them you want REAL eggs. There is nothing worse on the entire ship than those nasty powdered eggs.
Hi Raye, I guess I never knew that! Do you call them in the morning or tell Concierge the night before? I really need to start using my perks shouldn't I! LOL

You also have to very aware of where you are traveling to.
Will be on the NE/CA cruise (same one you were on reverse a while back). If I keep in purse or leave it home period? Seems strange as it is legal, not any THC in it at all. Thanks Twangster.
-
HI All, does anyone know Royal's take and also traveling with CBD pills and oil? I know it's a bit ambiguous perhaps @twangster might know having been everywhere. Traveling NE/CA in a few weeks.
Don't need any trouble but it's working wonderfully for my hubby. Thank you!

My thoughts and prayers with this family. I read BOTH sets of grandparents were in this cruise too. Life will never be the same for any of them..

Seriously JEALOUS!!! Talk about a bucket list! Now, if they could come up with back to back Alaska first, then Hawaii, best of both worlds! Following and Enjoy!! Looking forward to it!

If your stopping in Portland, Duck Fat, Holy Donut and the Standard Baking Co, are musts.
Have a great cruise!
Thank you @FManke, are they right at the pier? Haven't been to Portland in years? My husband is disabled so we will have a scooter. That's the issue with the tours, too long, but we really want to do Peggy's Cove.
