  1. I’ve been on Oasis 3 times. Doing Symphony in May. Book Aqua Theatre early in the week. Can get cancelled due to weather. Last time we saw it during the day. Book all shows prior. Never went to Cats. No desire.

The tapas in Vintages is really good. If Dalbor is still there, he’s pretty awesome.

Look on this site for a cruise compass for your itinerary and study it although there may be some changes.

Relax. It’s vacation. If you didn’t do everything, go to Next Cruise and put a deposit down on another one! ?

Well, the UDP seems to run in the ballpark of $25-$30 pp / pd average, so on a 7-night cruise for 2 that means $350 to $420. I don't see that being the price diff between a regular OV Balcony and a JS on any ship that has a CK available. I want to say it's usually at least that much per person to go up to a JS, maybe even closer to $550 per person.

Well we just upgraded to Junior Suite on our Symphony in May. Got it during the flash sale plus 30% off each over the weekend. Ended up about $800 more. Worth it for double points (aiming for Diamond+) and CK. I have a feeling though we may still do a 3 night specialty because I really want to try Hooked and Wonderland. I’ll wait to get my daughter’s report after she sails next month.

UDP on Symphony runs $175-$200 per person. Upgrade to JS is worth it.

  3. We were invited to CK a few years ago on Oasis. A friend of mine’s brother was Director of Hotels and took us there. It’s always been a sore spot with me that they removed Viking Crown and put in suites and CK so I was excited to have dinner there for the great views.

Food was very good, service was great but then again we were eating with one of 6 officers that runs the ship! Lol

I’d definitely go back if the cost difference between JS and unlimited dining were about equal.

  4. You have 2 options to leave the ship. Put your luggage out in the hall the night before and collect in the luggage farm once off the ship or you can carry your own bags off but I believe those that do that have to be off by 8:00.

As you leave they will scan your sea pass card.

All billing discrepancies have to be taken care of before you leave the ship. A statement will be on your TV the last night.

You also will have a daily statement you can check each day. That way you can head off any problems early. Guest services gets very crowded that last night.

Is this a Royal itinerary? I’m not seeing it. Super ports! If I were 10 years younger! I don’t think I’d last on this one. I need at least 1 sea day to do nothing. Damn cancer left me with fatigue that makes this one not doable. ?

We haven't been on this 9 night cruise yet but have it booked for next June. It is on Explorer. We are in a group that did extensive research on which Med cruise to take and this one had what we thought the best itinerary. Can't give a review yet but we are sure looking forward to it!        OUR CRUISE

Wow! That’s definitely one to consider. I like the 2 days at sea. The couple were traveling with must have Santorini. My must have is Athens and Rome. 9 nights seems perfect with a few extra days in Rome. Why did you not choose the other 9 night on Explorer? Which port was the deciding factor?

Just completed a 12 night Venice Mediterranean cruise on Vision of the Seas and it was fantastic.  Could not of picked a better itinerary, and the ship was great too.  It is an older ship, but it has been maintained very well, and the crew is what makes this ship.

Did you spend a few days in each port or did you have sea days? I see Venice was overnight.

We will be on the Allure of the Seas next July, leaving Barcelona and going to

    1. PALMA DE MALLORCA, SPAIN
    2. PROVENCE(MARSEILLE), FRANCE
    3. FLORENCE/PISA(LASPEZIA)ITALY
    4. ROME (CIVITAVECCHIA), ITALY
    5. NAPLES, ITALY

If anyone has been on this trip yet please let me know if the excursions are worth it or better to explore on your own.  We did one in the Baltics in June and explored Estonia on our own and had a great time.

2 different friends did this on Oasis this past summer, a few weeks apart. Both absolutely raves about it. One was couples only, the other a family trip.

We returned this morning from Mariner of the Seas and I submitted the weekend Cruise Compass for posting here.  That will have the show times.

I was hoping you’d post a more current one. We’re going end of the month. We’re from Jax too. Should be fun doing Mariner and then the next weekend Ga/Fl game. My poor liver! Lol
