  1. Love Giovanni's Table. It is an incredible value, especially for lunch.
  2. On Allure of the Seas, there is a nightlight built in. When you turn off the light in the bathroom, there is still a dim light on that is perfect for middle of the night trips.
  3. Latest from a guest on there this week: Just talked to a guy working slides. He said he rode big one last week and got slammed bad. The fix is not just padding but controlling the water force.
  4. Agreed, very efficient check-in process at Terminal 1....just in time for Freedom to move to Port Everglades
  5. I always bring a mini surge protector. It provides 3 spots and has never been an issue getting through security.
  6. Welcome wyowestcouple!
  7. I've seen them in the RC gift shop on my last few cruises
  8. Thank you for sharing this info, Raye! I appreciate you supporting our sponsors and I am so glad to hear that they are providing you with excellent service.
  9. Yes, that should be fine.
  10. As others have noted, those kind of figures are mentioned by a crew member at some point.
  11. Here's a review of Goff's Caye I did in Belize: http://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2014/04/10/excursion-focus-goffs-caye-belize-city
  12. Thus far, Royal Caribbean has only raised the price of their drink packages fleetwide once since their inception. If your cruise is 1-2 years away, there's likely some additional risk of a price change compared to a cruise that is closer.
  13. Here's a review of Blue Waters: http://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2016/03/15/excursion-focus-blue-waters-beach-escape-falmouth If it were me, I'd go to Jewel Beach Break AI, but that's because I did not love Blue Waters.
  14. Very interesting option
  15. Here is a photo review of D8 on Quantum: http://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2014/11/17/photo-tour-of-d8-superior-ocean-view-stateroom-balcony-quantum-of-the-seas Here is a photo review of D3 on Anthem: http://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2015/11/10/photo-tour-of-category-d3-balcony-stateroom-anthem-of-the-seas Hopefully the photos will show you differences.
  16. Yes, it appears to be for cruises in next 60 days or so
  17. Pretty much. Not saying Majesty cannot, but Sovereign class is larger than Empress and in the case of Cuba, the smaller the ship, the better in terms of docking ability.
  18. If you browse any of the internet or beverage packages, it shows right up in the image banner.
  19. Make a request for a table alone. RC is usually pretty good at accommodating requests like that. [email protected]
  20. Sadly, I skipped the Pitons. We skipped it because a taxi cost was very expensive and we had young children and a long car ride. I regret not seeing them, but I agree it's the attraction there.
  21. The fact cruise lines want to go to Cuba is a really badly kept secret. It's essentially what Empress of the Seas is in the fleet for.
  22. Any photos of the packages available?
  23. Good tip! If you are flying in, go buy said diapers on your way to the port to avoid having to fly them
