  1. I completely forgot to bring wine on Navigator until I was in the cruise terminal. Those two bottles really do save you a lot of money.
  2. That is definitely a mistake. No Dynamic Dining on Harmony.
  3. Just for note, the Prohibition Party is a lot of fun. It is essentially a dance party, themed to 1920s jazz. There is a lot to drink, so if you do not have a drink package, it is a great value.
  4. I can't speak for the beverage inventory on any ship, but I would expect it to be available.
  5. Officially, the rules state you cannot. However, in practice, many guests report unopened bottles of water and/or soda are allowed (or at least, overlooked). Ideally, bring them in your carryon if possible.
  6. The Fort Lauderdale airport is quite close to the Port Evergaldes terminal, so taxis are really simple and convenient.
  7. Yes, you can. For breakfast, there is no charge for orange juice in MDR. Coffee is always complimentary. Soda always costs extra without a package.
  8. I know what you mean. We are definitely paying a premium for a new ship, but I really feel like these are some pretty good rates considering it is a new ship. And by putting down a deposit today, you get a chance to lock in the price now and always have the option of re-booking if any new promotions come out that are a better deal. And on the topic of this thread, I will be there! :P
  9. No restrictions at all on the Carousel on other Oasis-class ships. I have brought my kids as young as 6 months old on (obviously me or my wife would hold her up).
  10. I would think they'd look to shore up demand for Houston, which has been abandoned, rather than investing in a new terminal
  11. I like that idea. Not sure if that is practical, but I'd love that kind of an idea in general on existing ships or a new one.
  12. The cupcake decorating classes are a lot of fun and not expensive either!
  13. That is correct, no corkage fee. There used to be one, but it was been rescinded.
  14. Generally speaking, yes. The Solarium (adult pool) is enclosed, so it will be warmer there than the outdoor pool area.
  15. These days, NextCruise is essentially just an onboard booking bonus. Free money for booking a cruise while onboard. The downside is it is non-refundable, so you are committing to take a cruise because that deposit is non-refundable (though it is transferable).
  16. Prior to cruising on Allure, I thought (incorrectly) that Rising Tide would move much more often. It is on a schedule and I believe there is a screen/sign near the entrance that shows the next departure time.
  17. The real benefit of the lessons is not having to wait (again) in lines for another turn. Like many things in life, the more practice you get, the quicker you learn it.
  18. There's a Prince from Nigeria that can totally hook you up
  19. You're welcome! Glad to hear you are joining the fun here!
  20. Depends on your sailing. It is usually towards the end of the cruise, but it really can vary.
  21. I look at it like deals on new cars. Dealerships often offer something like 0% financing OR a couple thousand dollars cash back. I pick the right deal for me and run with it. Stackable discounts, in general, are a rare breed.
