Night 1 takes longer than most nights, but rest of the nights it's right around 1 hour. They schedule 2 to be on the safe side. Both. There will be vegetarian options, but you can make other requests. As an example, I always order a vegetarian Indian curry dish. I'm not vegetarian, but love curry! I've seen it many times as we drive by. It's across the street, and maybe a half block further than El Cid. I thought about booking there, but wasn't sure about the beach situation. Thanks for the info, Raye!

You have a good point there. I think key is you have to be okay with the cancellation fee if you want to change. I think bigger issue is when you aren't sure that sailing will work or not, rather than the room. No doubt it's a pain, but the reality was suites were being gamed too much under the old system. People were treating suites like numbers on a roulette board.

No, you should still get the invoice. I'd call back and ask. I remember when I booked Symphony and they were super slammed with others doing the same thing (it was first day bookings were available) I had to call back for an invoice because it never came.

I don't think it compares very well. Their beach is very small, and rocky. You can swim in the beach, but it's nothing special. Certainly Nachi's beach is superior overall. As I recall, El Cid has a food and beverage credit (as opposed to being all inclusive). That may or many not be a problem for you. The best thing about El Cid is it's SUPER close to the ship. Literally next door to the terminal area. No taxis required. I went there and negotiated with front desk for a simple day pass for a few hours as a place to hang out until our plans for the rest of the day opened up. @DocLC Can you speak more to the experience at Playa Mia? I considered going there, but my concern is it is advertised everywhere in the port area and around town. It gave me concern that it is super-crowded, and/or a bit of a tourist trap. Would love to hear your thoughts.
