  1. That's a great point! No travel agent/agency/website should ever charge you for changes or really anything related to servicing your reservation.
  2. Yup, and it feels great doesn't it?
  3. I think it's the latter.
  4. Me too. Shaping up to be pretty darn impressive.
  5. Looks like the Pier is now scheduled for November 2018 https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2018/06/05/royal-caribbean-officially-opens-perfect-day-island-experiences-bookings
  6. Yes you can do that.
  7. She works and you can go back to doing....whatever it is you do. Based on what I've observed, Jacki will free you up to post more on the message boards, buy new camera lenses and come up with new nicknames for @Lovetocruise2002
  8. Complete breakdown of Perfect Day at CocoCay prices, including what will be included and not included: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2018/06/05/royal-caribbean-officially-opens-perfect-day-island-experiences-bookings
  9. Confirmed. It begins on June 6 (D-Day)
  10. The correct. I haven't done it before, but from what I understand it's a meal at Giovanni's Table, but for part of the meal a murder mystery plays out around the restaurant. Perhaps others can shed more insight into exact details.
  11. Have not tried it. Interesting loophole if it does work.
  12. Really? I've never had any bartender on Royal Caribbean ever make me wait. Granted, I'm not at the bar ordering shot after shot like a dejected cowboy in an Old West flick, but this is really the first I've heard of it.
  13. None, but it's not to say all the activities cruise passengers engage in when visiting Cozumel, San Juan or Falmouth are exclusively of cultural or historical significance.
  14. To be fair, the soda package has been $8.50 for a number of years. I honestly don't remember what it was before $8.50 nor when that was. In both cases, these aren't costs that have gone up every year. Sadly, inflation is driving all costs up everywhere. Gasoline, supermarket food, novelty blow up animals for the pool, clothing, etc.
  15. That's a great point. Had not considered it that, especially when you think why would they schedule a maintenance fix 6 months in advance?
  16. Climbers need to be at least 6 years old and sign a waiver. Climbing the rock wall is free and no reservations are required.
  17. With all due respect, I truly do not understand the logic you present. I totally get you're disappointed that RC is adding things to CocoCay that cost extra. I might point out that any island you visit has excursions that cost extra, and that the core "sit on a beach for free" option will still exist with Perfect Day. It's not like these options existed before and were complimentary and now they're charging for it. I guess what I'm saying is why is it a problem for CocoCay to have additional options that costs extra when any other Caribbean port has free and not free excursions?
  18. I'd start with Crown and Anchor Society (assuming you've cruised before with RC). [email protected]
  19. It's not uncommon for prices to be higher on newer ships. We see that already if you compare prices for activities and packages on a Radiance/Vision class ship to an Oasis/Quantum class ship. You do pay more for the premium experience.
  20. Welcome Lori and Larry!
  21. It says on the cabana details page that the price is per cabana, not per person. So you just book it for yourself and then show up with whomever you'd like to bring.
  22. Lovely photos! I need to consider doing more post-processing on my photos, but when I'm on a cruise....
  23. You only need to buy one. The cabana is for up to 6 guests. So you buy it for just one person in the cart.
