Michael Vitale
Excited to see the new deployment announcements, but have a Q. Under Liberty, it says "will continue" it's year round cruises out of Galveston. Huh ?? Navigator sails out of Galveston. Liberty will be new to Galveston won't it ? Either way, I'm thrilled to see Liberty coming to Galveston. Hurry September !!!
Matt
It was previously announced Liberty will go to Galveston after she leaves NY. The release assumed the dates began in 2016.
michelle
Loving the Oasis going to Port Canaveral - makes sense with the new Terminal they built there.
monctonguy
I am looking forward to Oasis being at PC, as that is normally where I cruise out of. Losing EOS is a bit of a downer, as I don't think ROS will be as nice, but I guess a change is good.
jticarruthers
I was hoping for more at PC since I much prefer the port to FLL. Have sailed Grandeur and Vision and didn't mind them for short itineraries but by all accounts Enchantment is the prettiest sister of the group though. jlynn222
Taking my kids on the enchantment in August...I'm wanting to book oasis to so they can experience a bigger ship..at least when they go on enchantment they get to go to the waterpark in alantis.. hopefully they meet some kids on enchantment to hang out with
Matt
Loving the Oasis going to Port Canaveral - makes sense with the new Terminal they built there. It's going to be interesting to see how Oasis does in Canaveral competing now directly with DCL markinct, DocLC and bobroo
DocLC
I think Disney might finally have some serious competition. Curious to see if Disney will have to cut prices and/or Royal can compete with higher per berth prices than is typical elsewhere. Throw Carnival into the mix, and it gets interesting. jticarruthers
I guess Thanksgiving falls into the Winter season, so nothing for me to look at still :(

Matt
Loving the new Anthem 5 nights to Bermuda- that is a great itinerary Originally Quantum was listed as going to Bermuda but that never happened. Glad the idea wasn't lost too.
JohnK6404
I believe you are right... Liberty (going on cruise this OCT out of NJ) is being redeployed eventually and Quantum & Anthem will be out of Cape Liberty, NJ, it appears... Explorer was out of NJ (up to 2013 or so) until it was refurbished and redeployed too... Too bad they could not deploy an Oasis class ship to the Northeast... especially after Harmony and Oasis IV are completed... maybe the ports / bridges are too small / low for passage and docking... jticarruthers
Quantum out of China, Anthem out of NJ
JohnK6404
Quantum out of China, Anthem out of NJ Oh, I see... Anthem will be replacing Quantum out of Cape Liberty... Quantum leaving mid 2015...
DocLC
I've already informed my TA to book the Oasis for January 2017 when bookings open as we already planned to hit WDW before my son became an adult (10 in Disney speak). markinct
Matt
Oh, I see... Anthem will be replacing Quantum out of Cape Liberty... Quantum leaving mid 2015... Liberty of the Seas will be in Cape Liberty between the two
pegasusa
I'm wondering why there isn't a Liberty repo cruise from Florida to NJ.
Marc
I guess they didn't want to allocate the days necessary to sail down to one of the "ABC" islands (Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao) which would be necessary to transport passengers legally from one US port to another (otherwise in violation of the Passenger Vessel Services Act) before heading up to New Jersey. Instead, they can go empty in just a few days between the ports and start the normal itineraries from Cape Liberty.
jticarruthers
Would of thought a Nassau stop would be an easy one to make the cruise "legal" but maybe not ?
DocLC
Sailing between two U.S. ports requires a stop at a "distant foreign port," which is why the ABCs were mentioned in the previous post. This is why all of the Hawaii cruises are now round trip unless repositioning from Vancouver. They tried to use Ensenada in years past, but it didn't qualify. Note that this does not apply to US flagged vessels.
DocLC
I'm also hoping that they'll be using the tone to add a few enhancements while enroute, although this may not be possible until after dry dock. I'd really like Sabor before my January 3rd cruise. :)
jticarruthers
Interesting, didn't realize there had to be a distance involved as well. Makes sense though.
