Kelseylovestocruise Posted July 2, 2024 Report Posted July 2, 2024 I checked in for leg 1 of my b2b today I will check in for the next leg in a week. As I’m a b2b passenger the check in time does not matter correct? Quote
OCSC Mike Posted July 2, 2024 Report Posted July 2, 2024 Correct (unless something crazy happens like you don’t go on the 1st leg). Ryan79 1 Quote
rjac Posted July 2, 2024 Report Posted July 2, 2024 The ship will let you know a day or two before the end of your first week. Very simple, all the b2b passengers log off from the ship, get off the ship together, receive a new sea pass card and log bag onto the ship. The reason you have to get of the ship is so they have a zero balance of passengers onboard. Does not take very much time either. We have done many b2b cruises, I get a kick out of looking at the hallways the night before debarkation at all of the suitcases in the halls. Enjoy your cruise! Pattycruise Posted July 2, 2024 Report Posted July 2, 2024 It should not matter, however, as stated, if something happens that you miss leg 1 of your trip you might want to have an early check in for leg 2 Ryan79 1 Quote
CrznTxn Posted July 4, 2024 Report Posted July 4, 2024 If you are sailing out of Galveston you do not even leave the ship. You meet in one of the ship lounges (Comedy Club on Harmony) and Customs and Border Patrol come onboard and check your passport or other papers. They then give you your new sea pass card and you are good to go. If you are changing rooms, go to your new room during the first leg of your trip and meet your new room steward. We do that and they arrange moving your hanging clothes and suitcase to your new room. Has been great for us, plus we give them time to refresh the room and then go unpack before anyone else. We get some really dirty looks when we come out the closed doors in the hallway while everyone is waiting. RCIfan1912 1 Quote
Kelseylovestocruise Posted July 4, 2024 Author Report Posted July 4, 2024 I’m sailing out of Ravenna Italy. I have the same room for both legs. Quote
twangster Posted July 4, 2024 Report Posted July 4, 2024 In the EU when cruises stay within Europe typically customs and immigration doesn't mean a required face to face for many citizenship. If you require a VISA to visit an EU country that may not apply to you. For most guests a European B2B will see you visit a designated venue onboard at a prescribed time to "depart" the ship followed immediately by using your next cruise seapass card to "reboard" the ship. It typically occurs within tne same venue a short distance apart. From Royal's perspective the two cruises are unique. Accounts are settled and closed. Photos not purchased are deleted and cruise 2 begins as if cruise 1 never happened. Quote
Kelseylovestocruise Posted July 4, 2024 Author Report Posted July 4, 2024 No visa required for this Canadian so this should hopefully be easy! Quote
