Jolly Ogre Posted May 14 Report Posted May 14 About how long does it normally take to get confirmation of redeemed offers? They stated if i don't get one in 48 hrs to call, however the offer expires on Friday....that is cutting it close. FYI this is the 1st time I had an offer to redeem. WAAAYTOOO 1 Quote
WAAAYTOOO Posted May 14 Report Posted May 14 Congratulations ! Have you already called and redeemed the offer and you’re just waiting for the booking confirmation ? If so, you should get that immediately. I never hang up the phone until I have the confirmation in Front of me so that I can check to make sure everything is there. Check your trash bin. That’s where mine always go.100% of the time… If you used a Next Cruise open booking in conjunction with your offer, be sure and check to make sure you OBC got added. This is one thing that they often miss. Also, if your offer had associated free play, make sure that’s showing as well. JustMeJoe 1 Quote
Jolly Ogre Posted May 14 Author Report Posted May 14 Well I did not call. I went to the my offers page and went to redeem and filled out the form. It had me select 3 different cruises in order of preference. Should I just call? Can I pick the sailing and room? Quote
WAAAYTOOO Posted May 14 Report Posted May 14 I did use the website once but will not do that again. The problem with the website is, it basically becomes a GTY booking b/c there’s nowhere for you to choose a specific room. I have read that some people will request a specific room in the “notes “ section but I’m not sure if this works or not. Also, I am almost certain to upgrade my offer as I don’t care for interior rooms, which is what most of my offers are for. So I always call. Given that you are close to a deadline, I think I would call to confirm the booking and to see where they put you in case you want to change anything. Jolly Ogre 1 Quote
SplashOfWater Posted May 15 Report Posted May 15 We've requested a specific room in the notes section and that has worked. But...our most recent interaction with the website left us waiting several days with no response. We ended up calling and booking to make sure we got the room we wanted. We now call and don't waste our time with redeeming online. SebagoSue and WAAAYTOOO 2 Quote

I did end up calling and am glad I did as I was able to upgrade and get the room I wanted with very little $$ to add. This was my 1st casino comp so I was all new to this. Now that I have it, the next one will be less confusing. billdauterive, WAAAYTOOO, Hoppy2BHere and 1 other 3 1 Quote

billdauterive Posted May 17 Report Posted May 17 Just to reiterate, I would always call if possible to get it sorted out right then and there for any offers you really want. Plus if you call you can choose the room you want, or ask about additional freeplay if you're ok in a guarantee, or ask about upgrade prices. You can also downgrade if possible just to secure a room on the ship/sail date if all the current offers for your category are booked. I have used the online redeem a few times for offers I wasn't excited about but just wanted as a fallback plan in case there wasn't a better offer in the future, and didn't want to spend 30 mins or more on the phone. The amount of time varies from when you'll hear back (if at all). Anywhere from 1-5 days is my usual experience (except one time that was over 2 weeks!) I'll usually see the booking under the "Courtesy Holds" tab on my sign in page long before any invoice hits my email. You will need to pay the balance online within 48 hours though or the booking goes poof. I also always call every few weeks to ask about upgrade prices for all my booked sailings. You'd be surprised how often and how widely the prices can fluctuate and I have yet to find a rhyme or reason that makes sense. Hoppy2BHere, SplashOfWater and WAAAYTOOO 2 1 Quote

Usually have the email confirmation within 2 business says and then have 48hours to pay the fees. you can absoulutely pick the sailing and room if you call. WAAAYTOOO and SplashOfWater 2 Quote
tommybananas Posted October 7 Report Posted October 7 So I got a 15,000 point free cruise certificate while onboard my last cruise. The certificate also showed up in my account at clubroyaleoffers...I redeemed it within the 3 days for a sailing in late January. QUESTION - Will I get any more casino offers dumped into my account or emailed to me between now and my next cruise? I am not Prime yet if that matters. I have 4 RCL cruises booked over the next 6 months. Quote

Prime is 2,500 points-so you’ve made prime as your post indicates you’ve earned 15,000 points -unless that’s a typo! regardless of points earned you should keep an eye on your clubroyale account to see if you get additional offers Quote
