GG-FOB Posted May 14, 2017 Report Posted May 14, 2017 Hello All - Looking for Friends of Bill W. that might be going on the June 25, 2017 Eastern Caribbean Cruise. Holler back and let's get something going while we are there! Quote
Matt Posted May 15, 2017 Report Posted May 15, 2017 When you get onboard, check the activities board near Guest Services. There's usually a regularly scheduled Friends of Bill W meeting posted. Quote

So, when you see "Friends of Bill W." on the community board, it's a way to announce AA Meetings in a somewhat 'discreet' manner, but also in a way that those in need are able to congregate in a location on the ship to help support one another and hold their meetings. tiny260, coneyraven and JLMoran 3 Quote
arebee Posted May 16, 2017 Report Posted May 16, 2017 That would explain why I don't go... I almost did once, I have a friend named Bill W. and thought he was on board. Guess I would of shocked some people when I showed up with a long island ice tea.... GG-FOB, Cristina_WNOP and FManke 3 Quote

GG-FOB Posted June 19, 2017 Author Report Posted June 19, 2017 @Matt - Thanks for the info! I'll check it out when I get there. @arebee - You certainly wouldn't be the first person to show up at an AA meeting less than sober. @klaconqueso - I agree this is a very cool thing RCCL does for us! I have a few 24's under my belt so I'm not gonna be white-knuckling this cruise. But it would be cool to meet some other folks in the program along the way! WAAAYTOOO and KLA 2 Quote
