cruisefam86
We are sailing on Oasis of the Seas March 2023. My options I most like for flight times are 10:10am or 11:30am. Would 10:10 be doable? We are staying in a suite but I am not sure how fast disembarkation is on Oasis while in a suite.

A lot will depend on if you carry off your own luggage or not. I have not sailed out of Miami yet, But in a Suite this year at both Port Canaveral and Port Everglades I have had the Suite Concierge escort me with my luggage to the front of the line to get "Dinged" off the ship around 7:30 am. that said Early flights can always be risky if something delays disembarkation, which can happen. Last cruise out of Galveston the face recognition was down and that cause somewhat of a delay also.
USFFrank
Others, as well as I will say, don't do anything before 12:00. If in your case 11:30 is the only other option, choose that. Better to be safe, rather than stressed out, then (worse case) sorry. WAAAYTOOO, WAYNO and Allen2
Allen2
IMO, too many possible variables for a 10:10 flight: late arrival of ship, shortage of customs/immigration officials, shortages of transportation due to busy port, weather, TSA/security backups at airport, and even traffic or other issues. We have seen all of the above - risk/reward ratio not good here.
Ampurp85
Port of Miami isn't that far but the 10am flight is not at all doable. It has taken me about 20-30min with traffic to get to the airport in a Lyft/Uber. Miami is a busy airport and depending on if it is a weekday or weekend flight, the lines may be long. Also, people fail to take into consideration that 10:10 is the flight time, boarding usually closes 30min before that so your actual time is something like 9:40/9:45. If you self-disembark, you should be okay with the 11:30.
Done
On a cruise from Tampa we were delayed 6 hours because Tampa Bay was fogged in and the port was closed. The rub was we moored outside the bay and had no cell service to make alternate flight arrangements. My point is things happen that are out of control of the ship's crew. I personally would never book a flight before noon. I say that even though *most* of the time we were at the airport with plenty of time to make a 10:45 am flight. Kathleen
As others have said: Book the later flight. Depending on time and day, Miami’s security lines can be very long. Nothing worse than standing in a security line while your plane boards and leaves the runway!
