  1. We are on the Oasis sailing March 17 that has cancelled Labadee. We were planning on staying on board in Falmouth but now we want to do something so we don’t have 4 sea days in a row. Do more spots open for shore excursions once you board?
  2. Has anyone done this excursion? We have it booked but everyone is now saying they would rather just get off shop a little and make it a “sea day”. So I am just wondering if it is worth our time!
  3. If you are not on the drink package and order a drink with a floater do you pay the $14 for the drink then cost of the additional shot?
  4. This is true! We went on Independence when my son just turned 3 he ran to the slide in the baby splash zone and was told no bc he was not wearing a swim diaper.
  5. My son’s passport expires 10 days after we return. Will he be able to board with it for a western Caribbean itinerary or do I need to take his birth certificate?
  6. Counting down to the cruise! This will be our second year in a row on oasis for spring break. We love private islands!
  7. I see that it is free for kids on the first day and port days. Does that mean I have to order something there for myself for it to be free or can I just get them chicken fingers?
  8. He finally responded and posted payment! His power went out. I feel bad I went a little crazy. But when you have that chance of your cruise being cancelled it’s makes you a little crazy!
  9. Thanks! I was so worried and after you said this I went back and looked at my invoice from when we booked on the ship and it had a due date of Dec 18. So he has given himself a 10 day buffer! I was having a mini heart attack! We are in a CLS for a price that will never be seen again!
  10. Starting to get worried. This is why I usually like to be in control of my own stuff. Every other time I have email with anything/make a payment he has responded with in a few hours. Today is our final payment date. I emailed him at 9:50am and still no response. So I called. Voicemail over and over saying he’s either on the other line or out of the office. How do I make my payment around my travel agent so my trip won’t be canceled?
  11. Are any drinks served during the class? Or can you use your drink package to order drinks?
  12. No I wasn’t meaning if they will deliver somewhere else! I just know if we wait until we go back to the room to order we may be told it’s a 2 hour wait so I was thinking if they just deliver it it would be there!
  13. We preferred costal kitchen with our kids over main dining room due to the time factor. Coastal kitchen could have us in and out in 30 minutes if we needed it bc of the kids while main dining room we we’re usually stuck leaving before the meal is over because our kids can’t make it 90 minutes(that was before the changes that has sped up MDR)
  14. Will room service deliver your food if your not in your room?
  15. If you travel a lot sticking with one brand helps. But by a lot I mean at least 2x a month! In 2 years my husband earned enough Hilton points for 10 nights in Hawaii and 4 nights In other hotels. The airline points don’t add up as well bc he has trouble staying completely loyal. He tried but then realized if he can get a direct or better flight with another airline it’s not worth the points. So he will finish the year a couple thousand miles and few hundred dollars shy of platinum….about 1 flight
  16. I’m debating with my husband whether or not to get the drink package. I know we will have access to the suite lounge 11-11 and happy hour. Being right around the corner from it in our room and our kids like splashaway bay so it’s a short walk to deck 17 for a drink! is it worth it to still get the drink package at $77.99 per person per day or just pay per drink and use the suite lounge?
  17. It was opened in March on oasis and packed with big unsupervised kids. I had to go find a staff member to remove them so my just turn 4 year old could play.
  18. Thanks everyone for the replies! I think the choice is easy now 150 Central Park it is! We are also in a suite so we will be able to have steak in coastal kitchen.
  19. I would definitely book through the cruise line or else you may end up in a situation missing the ship. We did that excursion while we were staying in Playa Del Carmen we were gone 11 hours.
  20. Look up oceansurfari. They were amazing! Provided transportation to and from the ship. Take you over to St Johns to two different snorkeling spots. After snorkeling its open bar. We had maybe 10-12 people on the boat with us that held 40
  21. Which is better? We have dinner for 2 from our travel agent and have it narrowed down to these. We have at chops in 2015 on navigator of the seas. It was good! We have never eaten at 150 Central Park.
  22. They did it in March! Our port time was from 2-10
  23. First day it’s open 7-10pm. The sea days are 9-12 2-5 and 7-10 can pay $7 hour after 10pm. Port days it opens 30 minutes before the first excursion and is open the whole time your in port . Our kids ate dinner on the port day, they took them to the windjammer at 5pm and they were allowed to have things like chicken fingers and pizza.
  24. If I was able to leave my 4 and 7 year old on board in kids club I don’t see why teens couldn’t stay! We had a blast kid free in Puerto Rico!
  25. Ocean reef surfari in st Thomas is amazing! Just google them and you book direct. They provide taxi from and back to your cruise port.
