I think Royal strives to make each new Oasis class ship the "new biggest cruise ship in the world". In some cases that claim doesn't results from length but from other dimensions or volume, or passenger capacity. One way or another the 6th Oasis class ship will become "the largest cruise ship in the world" when it goes into service. That guarantees media headlines promoting the ship.
