Yesiamthere
I know that before covid Star Class was allowed to host a party in their room with food and drinks. Does that still hold true…or, are they not allowing due to the whole covid thing? Has anyone done one lately. Thanks!
Matt
I was not able to host this in my Star Class room last week due to covid. I asked in the context of ending our bar crawl in the room. bryresangel, WAAAYTOOO and starbrat 1

I wonder if I could ask for a few meat trays and extra soda and unofficially host one in my room? On my last cruise in October I hosted a slot pull and had 60 people show up. Wonder what’s the difference regarding to crowds? WAAAYTOOO

I say see how things are at the time of your sailing, and if the variants/numbers are down, go for it, if your gathering is small. Yes, that's fine. I had friends over (3 in total) for lunch on my balcony, and then had 3 kids and 4 adults over for ice cream sundae cart. barbeyg

AlmondFarmer
I hosted in my Aqua. We drank all beer and wine. Great fun.
Lovetocruise2002
I have a feeling this might be "ship dependent" "genie dependent" answer. You will find that with some things star class, the answers will vary between ship/genie. I have heard of some (since covid) who have hosted parties in their suites and some like @Matt who were not able to. Your best bet is to ask your Genie when they reach out to you in their welcome email. starbrat
WAAAYTOOO
I think it might also depend on how you present it to your Genie. If you come out of the box with "party" I suspect it's going to be an uphill battle. If you just order food, drinks and don't make a big deal about it being a party, you would fare better. Just a hunch. barbeyg and starbrat 1
AlmondFarmer
My fridge was full and I asked for a cooler with beer. We had food from Giovanni. 17 people in total. Great fun. barbeyg and WAAAYTOOO 1
