Danish vikings
Do you have to follow the formal nights / wear your best rules when going to the special restaurant such as chops grill / wonderland?
TXcruzer
There are no “rules” merely suggestions. Wear what you are comfortable wearing.

No, but I recommend being considerate of other guests who are trying to celebrate or share a romantic evening.. The whole point to going to a nice restaurant is, well, to enjoy being in a nice restaurant, and attire is a part of that.. Crumpled shorts just don't belong at the fancier venues on the fancier nights. Yes, you will see some, but probably not the majority....Whatever you choose to wear and do, just be considerate. Everyone will benefit in the end. Have a great cruise! MamaShark
Rob&Ana
I like the new wear you best thing. In the end people will wear what they want anyways why use the word formal.... If I'm eating in a restaurant with my wife enjoying a nice meal, why would I care if some is at the next table in a tuxedo or slacks and a polo shirt. In short, no, the dress code you see listed in the Cruise Compass applies only to the main dining room. Specialty restaurants have their own dress codes, which supersede the main dining room dress code. MotleyCruiser
