mattymay
Just wondering if anyone on here has booked a cruise on Spectrum of the Seas? I'm considering it but reading a lot of bad reviews about cruises that depart SE Asia.
mworkman
I believe @twangsteris, but not 100% sure if he kept that booking.

Yes, after a quick search I see that @twangster went full YOLO about 6 months ago! mworkman
twangster
I was booked B2B on her but dropped both when my investments tanked and my cruise fund dried up. craig403 and mworkman 1
KristiZ
I just booked her for December! More to your point, though, I've been on a number of SE Asia cruises recently, since we're currently living in Tokyo. I have no real complaints! Possibly the only drawback would be that in some of the ports the ship is docked a long way from the "port" city advertised. This makes shore excursions take longer to get to than you might want, or makes it harder to just wing it off the ship when you arrive. As long as you know this going in you can be mentally prepared. Tons of fascinating stuff in the region to see and do, though!

But first, I'll likely annoy everyone with many, many questions once she starts sailing and we can see what she's really like!!

Traveler
We booked the Spectrum of the seas from China on the 7 days "best of Japan" cruise , Planning to have a live blog while cruising and even start it much earlier as there are many new different things when cruising from China. We booked it for this October, so I will be able to share some information before your cruise , although it might be even more special cruise as I found out we booked it during the golden week in China.
