johnwilliams
Wife is a pop drinker in the room at night . Bought 12 pack last cruise on ship . Can she take pop onto the ship ?
tiny260
Technically no, but if you want to try bring it on in your carry on luggage and not what you check. It will depend on the security person, water has been no issue lately, sometimes they frown on soda.

Just make sure you bring it in your carry on, not your checked luggage
melski94
@tiny260 rules on soda changed last year. Yes you can cary on a 12 pack of soda. SpeedNoodles
And they can be 17 oz cans, not just 12 oz cans (great for those who prefer the big energy drinks that tend towards 17oz).

Likely depends on the security screener you encounter. Terminal security are not Royal employees. They are hired by the terminal and may or may not implement Roysl’s rules precisely. Policy states one size. Deviate at your own discretion but don’t be upset if busted.

Not sure whose policy you're referring to I guess. I was just quoting directly off of RCCL's site, but you are clearly more experienced than I am - I won't argue that! :-)
Matt
As others stated, the answer is yes. Just be sure to carry it on and do not put it in your checked luggage with porters.
