Welcome, and thanks for your interesting perspective on cruising in Asia!  When I'm finally able to retire I want to do an Azamara cruise in SE Asia...at least that's the plan right now. :)

When BOGO first came out, in May 2014, for the first couple of days it's truly was a BOGO sale - they didn't inflate the prices until a couple of days into the sale.  With two kids we booked two cabins at just $30 over putting us all in one cabin would have cost.  Wish those days were back again....

I know they used to have an online store in years past; I assume it wasn't worth their while financially as I haven't seen it in years.

Hindsight, I should have booked a suite so we could have then been confused why they were so mad about us making gin in the bathtub.  Theming, it's all or nothing.

I'm with the above two gents - just a shirt and tie.  I'm not enthusiastic about paying the extra $$$ just to haul down a garment bag for a suit/jacket that I'm going to wear for a couple hours max.

While this doesn't work with room stewards, on our first or second night in the MDR the waiter and assistant waiter's names are on cards on the table (the disappear early in the week).  I take a photo of the cards so 1) I can remember their names, and 2) Get the name spelled correctly for the comment cards at the end of the cruise.  It's also helpful years on when you are looking at photos of them and wonder what their names were.

Only the mysterious RCL computer algorithms know for certain, but I'd have to say yes on the pricing going up, because of the sale demand is stronger.

A vest would be fine as would a dress shirt and tie without the vest or a coat. The main dining room, even on formal night, is much less formal than it used to be. I, for one, no longer take a coat with me and simply wear a nice dress shirt and tie on formal nights.
