We just asked on Anthem and they said no that we would need to buy a new one

They told us no because of the muster station would be wrong. That would be dangerous for kids.

We get the wow bands for the kids, it’s just easier for them. I don’t prefer taking it on and off to get a drink so I’ll stick with the card. I know it’s a muster thing but it would be nice if they were interchangeable between ships.

Shorts and a nice shirt is more than acceptable on the normal nights. I wear a pants, shirt and tie on formal nights, don’t feel obligated to do anything. Last cruise more than a handful of people seemed to wear what they were wearing that day. It’s your vacation, so enjoy it however you seem fit.

We were just on Anthem in May, 2 weeks before my daughter turned 12 and they wouldn’t let her in the teen club. We asked and they said no, partially because they combined all the ages due to lack of teen aged children on the ship.

Depending on where they are from $9.60 per hour may be a decent salary. You can’t really compare them to living in the states when many are from really poor countries.

I don’t think the judgement would be so harsh if the family didn’t hire a law firm that sues royal regularly immediately after the tragedy happened.

I’m happy about there water slides and laser tag.

We do the same thing, My kids fill them up before dinner and that’s pretty much it. We don’t let them drink a too much soda.

People have been reporting 90 minute wait times for rides. With the half day option that’s 2-3 rides and that’s your day. If they dock more than one ship at a time the price will hardly be worth the aggravation imo.

It just outside Johnny Rockets, it’s mostly used by kids. The water is pool temperature and you just go around in circles

That’s a great idea, that 10% rake is a bit extreme.

I think that is a small reason this policy is put in place. IMO the main reason is they just can charge more money plain and simple.

I agree, but considering many don’t is the reason they have all these stores on these ships.

It’s ashame, most people don’t do any research and get ripped off. I think it’s because some see a duty free sign and just assume it’s cheaper than anywhere else.

The ability to book entertainment wasn’t available for us until 32 days out for our upcoming Anthem cruise.
