Anybody have any restaurant suggestions for Portland and/or Bar Harbor Maine?

Even if things are bad, they are good in a certain way, if they remind you of something. I'm reminded of being a kid and going to Jack-in-the-Box, when they still had them in Illinois. I used to get their tacos and a order of frings, which were half fries and half onion rings. I'm sure the food was pretty bad, but it is a fond memory of my childhood.

I'm curious as to what was in the spaces now occupied on Radiance class ships before Chops. Izumi and Giovanni's were added? Where there others restaurant outlets there?

I know I've waited on land for a table even with a reservation before, so I guess that's not bad.

So has Anthem already received the MDR menu changes?

Don't forget the blazers with the big shoulder pads, ankle socks with pumps and parachute pants!

I don't drink anymore, but when I did, I liked to tip $10 or more right off the bat. You'd be surprised how well that works. Sometimes, that's all that was needed for the night. I've found this also works especially well at weddings and such with open bars. I've had bartenders look past others in front of me to take my order. Still do it, just with soft drinks now.

This too will be our first cruise. Sailing out of Boston this Oct on Serenade OTS. Stops in Halifax, NS, St. Johns, NB, Portland and Bar Harbor, ME.

I think what they mean is that by purchasing the card, you are saving up to 50% off the drinks, as opposed to buying them separately. I don't believe there is any additional discounts, once the card is used up.

Seems like this would be a huge PR mistake, taking into account how popular it is. If they are eliminating MTD all together, as reported, why were only some of the reservations cancelled. If they were totally eliminating the program, wouldn't they cancel all the reservations? Why do it only half way? Where and how was this discovered?

That goes under the category of, it's better to ask for forgiveness, than permission. You'll get used to the concept, once your married.

My guess is that if they served rabbit on board, you could get it. That's taking into account, they could catch Bugs.
