  1. Unfortunately it does not. Also it will not have complimentary VOOM. They will however dedicate a specialty restaurant for breakfast in the mornings. Here is an example of suite benefits on non-Oasis or Quantum class ships. Dear Suite Guest, It is my pleasure to welcome you onboard the beautiful Navigator of the Seas. We are honored that you have selected Royal Caribbean International for your cruise vacation. As a Suite guest, you are offered exclusive amenities and services not available to other guests onboard Navigator of the Seas. For your convenience, here is a brief summary of those services: · Use of the Concierge Lounge, Deck 9 aft. · Spa Bathrobes for use onboard. · Upgraded amenities for the bathroom. · Complimentary pressing service for the first Formal night. · Continental Breakfast served daily in the Concierge Lounge, From 7:30 am to 10:00 am · Hors d'oeuvres, petit fours and complimentary bar setup served in the lounge every evening before and after dinner from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm. · A la Carte Breakfast served daily in Chop’s Restaurant on Sea Days from 8:00 am to 10:00 am and in Port days from 7:00 am to 9:00 am. · Daily menus displayed and pre-ordering for your dinner wine. · Limited VIP lounge chair set-up near the Pool Bar area between Decks 11 and 12 ( no chairs reservation ). · Full Dining Room room-service privilege (available when Dining Room is open). · Reservations for any of our specialty restaurants, sports activities, Shore excursions! 2. @Yo2slick I just re-read your original post. For $600 more, I would most definitely get the Villa! And doesn't that suite have the hot tub? It does on Harmony/Symphony. Definitely no-brainer.
  3. Check out this blog post by @Matt for some great complimentary ideas: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2019/04/30/perfect-day-cococay-everything-you-need-know Also these videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3HCYe809pmE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXgfraHCI50
  4. For me the Villa would also be a no brainer if the price difference is comparable. You have 8, the Villa holds 14. That should be quite comfortable. And it has 4 separate bedrooms and 4 separate bathrooms. I don’t see how that can be very crowded. The Villa is the same as putting two 2-BDR Grand Suites together. I agree with @ChrisK2793, getting 4 balconies would not give you the extra living space. We did that with my family (4 connecting balconies) and it was ok but you basically just had the common balcony to share. With the Villa, you have more in space and suite benefits. If you go with your other strategy and get the Panoramic suite plus another suite, now you will be separated by decks as the VP is only in one location and there are no other suites on that same deck, unless both VPs are available. Villa is the best bet if the price is doable. And usually with a larger group, the price is more than doable. For example, with our Villa booking on Harmony next year, our per person cost is the same as an inside cabin.
  5. I don’t know of any suite lounges that are windowless but there are some Diamond lounges that are. Harmony and Symphony Diamond lounges do not have windows.
  6. @Alby re-pricing for price drops seems to only apply for North American bookings. Sorry about that. There are several message board members here from Europe and Australia who have mentioned in the past that they cannot re-price. For them it would mean losing their entire payment and it would be treated like a brand new booking.
  7. It does vary by ship as @twangster mentioned and it is never advertised in the literature. At least I have never seen it advertised in any of the sailings that I've been on. Usually, the invite shows up in your cabin.
  8. Most definitely. The only things I would book ahead of time are the cabanas from Coco Cay because the Genie cannot get those once they are sold out. Everything else, leave it to the Genie.
  9. We almost always fly into FLL as well even if cruises leave from Miami. Same reason, it's usually always cheaper, even with the cost of Uber/Lyft factored in.
  10. I have not found the 90 day rule to apply over March break. I agree with @WannaCruise @Sweety and @melski94. I buy it for March break upon release. I have found it does not drop much after that.
  11. The cruise planner cannot tell if you are Star Class or not. All options including beverage packages, entertainment booking, shore excursions, etc. are open to those with star class bookings. If you purchase something and end up not needing it, your Genie can reverse the charges once you get on board.
  12. Right. For Category VP and GS and above only.
  13. For GS and above on non-OA and non-Q class: Dear Suite Guest, It is my pleasure to welcome you onboard the beautiful Navigator of the Seas. 14. I don’t know. If anything it will be something we squeeze in at the end of a summer....
  15. @WannaCruise awesome post cruise review! Loved reading your thoughts. Happy to see that you are still Team OA class! I am curious why you ranked Indy over Navigator. Was it just simply due to size? Can’t wait to see what you think of Anthem. You and I seem to share similar thoughts on ships.
  16. I have not had the pleasure to sail star class ships on Quantum class ships. However, @TheHobbys did a very entertaining blog on his sailing on Anthem. https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/boards/index.php?/topic/12964-anthem-of-the-seas-june-6-9-night-bermuda-ol-8720-sc/ Also going to tag @WAAAYTOOO, @CGTLH, @AshleyDillo, and @betatke1480 because they have all done star class on Anthem. I tried to cover as much of star class as I could on Harmony in my blog. The link is in my signature or I can post it for you if you cannot find it. All my other star class bookings are on OA class ships. I feel that Star class on Quantum class is great for activities such as the bumper cars, iFly, North Star. Where it is lacking just slightly is the specialty dining because there are not as many options.
  17. I am pretty sure for star class that limit does not apply. I have not heard any recent reports from star class cruisers that there was a limit. Only reports of food coma.
  18. More disappointing news. I saw seapass cards from Harmony in the past week and they have also switched over to the same colours as Symphony.
  19. To find the latest pricing, I simply do a mock booking online on Royal's website. I check at least once a week. If I booked direct, I call Royal myself. If I booked with a TA, I call my TA. My TA knows me well enough to know I track my prices. One time, early on, they claimed there was no drop and I was confident that there was. I called Royal myself, asked them to make a note in my file for my TA and then called the TA back. It was a bit more work, but worth the $1000 that I saved on it. I usually book suites so all NRD. I have not been turned down yet. But I track prices meticulously so I will also not call unless I am sure that there is a drop.
  20. See this post... https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/boards/index.php?/topic/10443-fare-reduction-for-phantom-cabin/&tab=comments#comment-98112
  21. The two bedroom GS is Sky Class with full suite benefits. Sounds like a good fit for your family of 6. The suite lounge pretty much any standard cocktail and definitely a rum and Coke.
