  1. This is what I have heard through the grapevine as well. There definitely is room in that itinerary to cut one day. I would be fine with that.
  2. There a quite a few of us here on that same sailing. I am not going to jump to any conclusions yet. It's locked but not cancelled. A lot can still happen between now and then.
  3. I am not going to jump to any conclusions for my 8 night August sailing. A lot can happen between now and then.
  4. We always take one without them each year. That is our deal. ?
  5. Word on the street is that Allure will be in Europe summer 2022. As for the loft, they are practically identical. I would make my decision based on which ship you would prefer to sail instead. Consider the shows, dining that each one has and see if the $800 difference is worth it to you.
  6. Well that's no fun. Everyone is booking Villas and I want to get in on the fun! ? But I need March 2023 to open up. lol
  7. You can move your deposit to a different room on the same sailing for sure but why you would want to give up star class benefits is beyond me. ? If you move your deposit to a different sailing, you will be penalized a change fee of $100pp, under regular, non-covid rules.
  8. My TA told me recently that the magic number is 8. However, I have long wondered if that is case, why would they let you book it with less than that? We were able to book it with 4 only before and it did not state anywhere that we would have to add 4 more to it, but we ended up adding. So basically, I don’t really know, and I have never once heard of someone not being allowed to make final payment because they did not have enough people. I read a blog from the past on HM where they only had 6 in there at the time of sailing. Sorry if this causes more confusion than help.
  9. No clue. I was asking @JLMoran and @twangster the same thing today for myself. Not for Thanksgiving 2022 bit for the Winter 2022/Spring 2023 release dates. Maybe @Matt has some guesses or @Sharla? ?
  10. @Leroyr55 what drink is that in the photo above??? It looks awesome!
  11. I honestly don’t know. I was assuming what @twangstersaid about the open space on deck 14 being CK. Odyssey has the Royal Suite class system so I would assume that there would be a CK. Only time will tell I suppose.
  12. I second what @Matt said above. We booked a Villa (holds 14 people) and our TA made it seamless for all 14 of us to all pay separately. With group bookings, much easier to use a TA. It doesn't cost you anything, but saves you a lot of headache. And yes, unfortunately, by sharing the same cabin, if one adult over 21 gets the drink package, all will have to.
  13. I was literally just thinking this as I read the post by @USFFrank. We're not there yet, but there is a small light. So there is hope.
  14. You are aware that this is “fun post” right? One of our “rules” here is to stay on topic. If you are not contributing anything relevant to the topic at hand, perhaps move onto another thread. https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/boards/index.php?/topic/19393-dont-do-any-of-these-things/
  15. Here is the suite concerige email from Navigator. It's pretty much the same of all non-Oaiss/Quantum class ships. There is zero mention of lunch. Breakfast is an a l carte menu (similar to the CK breakfast menu) in Chops. But is is not food from the Chops menu. They just use the location. 16. With your category VP, you have complimentary room service (from the room service menu) and also you get can meals delivered from the MDR at dinner time. As @AshleyDillo said, the menu from the specialty restaurant is not what you are going to get included. For example, you cannot go to Chops or Jamie's on Mariner and expect to have lunch there included. That is not included with suite benefits. Unless something has changed that I know of.
  17. Where did you see the list of suite benefits that includes lunch in a specialty restaurant? I never knew that was a suite benefit on ships without a CK. I know for breakfast they open up one specialty and the menu is similar to CK breakfast but there is no complimentary lunch that I know of. The only thing close to that is they open up one of the specialty restaurants next to the WJ and you can bring your lunch in there to eat.
  18. Yes! And let’s add the terms “mitigate” and “elephant in the room” to that list too! ?
  19. I think I recall both you and I saying when Freedom (out of NJ) itineraries were first released that the prices were unbelievably high. I wanted to book Freedom for summer 2021 but decided against it because of that. I still think it is priced too high. I ended up booking a 5 nighter on Oasis (06/06/21) to try to get out to the East Coast instead. Hopefully we can get onto that sailing by June.
  20. As a solo cruiser, not in a suite, you would normally get 2 points per night. With the Loyalty 2x promo, you would get 4 points per night in a non-suite cabin when cruising solo.
