I'm sure it does lead to more requests. On the flip side I'm sure it has increased guest satisfaction due to being able to send these requests. Somewhat reminds me of being able to order room service from the TV versus having to call.

I feel this has been a great enhancement for communication. I think Alan R on Allue in September had stated this was a fairly new rollout and the Genies were using company issued devices for it. I've always felt silly calling in a request when a quick text message could do. Plus I feel text is easier, most of the time, to convey "list" type requests.

The weather station on top of Daredevil's Tower has been reporting winds above 25 mph most of the morning. Also sure temperature on the decline wouldn't have helped much either.

Go for it! The Villas are two levels like the Crown Loft. Plus you're right next to The Retreat Lounge and the upper floor leads out to the Sun Deck. Negative is Luminae is a deck down. Not the same amenities as Star on Royal. Laundry service twice, specialty dining (not sure delivered), and beverages. Plus stocked mini-bar. Key given, Butler no where near equal to Genie. Disclaimer: Only sailed in a Sky Suite on Edge.

Wonder if a reverse of what I've had happen in the past occured. When a refund was supposed to be issued it was applied towards the balance for the reservation. Process for the reverse would be the reservation has the charge applied to it increasing the fare. Similar to when OBC is removed from a booking and a Cruise Planner purchase had it already applied.

Something else to try is looking in the app for various restaurants and picking "Show more" next to times. Then match the date to when you're in CocoCay. If nothing is listed for you sailing. Silly as it seems I'll add to the mix the corridor/hallway the suites are on. Nice having a wide hallway, not playing dodge cart and the ability that two people could walk side-by-side. Also the area isn't as bright as the other decks. Lighting wise is it a bit dimmer. I'll also toss this in with the CLS. While you don't have a second bedroom, you at least have a second bathroom.

Yes, you can get items from the Snack Shack. Not sure if they would be prepared at the Beach Club or the attendant would pickup from a Snack Shack. Not mentioned. Getting something from the buffet, that is unknown territory for me.

Your assumption is correct. Yes, the concierge should be willing to care of dining reservations beforehand.

If it is somewhere with very limited seating I'd say make a reservation for lunch. I recall on Harmony over Thanksgiving Izumi sushi was full within minutes of opening. Not sure about the hibachi side. Larger venues such as Chops, Hooked, and Jamie's seating isn't as limited. Now there might be a small wait to help pace the waitstaff and kitchen.

Don't know of it is in official documentation. I've always been under the impression with the dining package it would be $10 for a single protein and $15 for a two proteins. Add to the mix the 18% automatic gratuity. This was also what was mentioned here on Harmony Monday when dining.

This morning at 10 the CC text message arrived for our bid. So the theory of multiple expired with one pending still holds truth. Nerve-wracking part was the wait as the other staterooms in the category were dropping out of inventory. #team17

Yes, deck 17 forward. Access is via stairs on 16. Think Harmony and Symphony have a hot tub. Don't think Oasis and Allure have anything. Wonder will have an area on 17 where the suites all are.
