  1. Sure, you can bring your own personal drinks to the main dining room. Potential surcharge doesn't apply to softdrinks.
  2. No different than it would at most of the other restaurants. Entrées are the short rib, pork, chicken, halibut, and branzino dishes. Just about everything else is "small bite" portions. If you wanted to sample every "small bite" type item, no problem. Key this is to specify any dislikes/problematic food items.
  3. $250 Onboard Credit per Stateroom on Sailings of 14 or more nights $100 Onboard Credit per Stateroom on Sailings of 6 to 13 nights $50 Onboard Credit per Stateroom on Sailings of 5 nights or less Applicable on any eligible Royal Caribbean International or Celebrity Cruises voyage. Ref: https://www.rclinvestor.com/contact-us/faqs/shareholder-benefit/
  4. Summoning @Cruisin and Boozin if they might have/be willing to provide the details.
  5. Congratulations to those that were able to snag the deal. I'm seeing prices back to normal.
  6. Guess a new intern was hired.
  7. The benefit is only available for the stateroom in which the shareholder (with a minimum of 100 shares) is sailing. Onboard credit is applied on a per stateroom basis, double occupancy. Only one shareholder credit per stateroom on any one sailing. If shares are held jointly, 100 shares are required for each onboard credit request on any one sailing.
  8. Exactly this... Chops states they use prime beef on their menu. Jamie's mentions White Oak Pastures farms as source for their chicken. 150 Central Park states they use organic products. Room service states their burger is Prime Wagyu beef. Johnny Rockets states their burgers are made from fresh, never frozen, beef. Without playing the "prove it" card and requesting product packaging it'll be hard to verify statements. In the past during the one of the various galley tours and All Access tours I've seen burger patties being made. When someone asked about it they were told they were being made for the dining room for lunch. Then it was also mentioned that Johnny Rockets had their's made fresh as well, just a smaller patty. During another All Access tour (2016) I saw them loading for distribution onion rings and fries that were branded for Johnny Rockets.
  9. Try selecting "Day 2" at the bottom when viewing the menus. Since no venue is technically open for breakfast when boarding for your Day 1 the menu isn't going to be listed. Same logic applies when viewing the dining room menu or another restaurant that offers lunch some days during the voyage. Being open for breakfast, I'll leave that to someone else that might have better insight. Personally I think it has been more of a staffing issue. I recall on my Allure sailing in September and Harmony in November it was open for breakfast. While in January on Harmony it wasn't open in the morning.
  10. Been some time since I'm used it. It does work like most other chat apps, biggest catch is the notifications can be spotty. Other catch is I think the user needs to have an account with Royal. For now the chat feature isn't free, cost is around $2 a day per chat user, per day for the remaining length of the voyage. It is available on Ovation, last I heard is was available fleet wide now. You'd pick two devices for one cruiser. Once onboard you'll create an account and redeem access for a two device Voom plan. The account then would allow two devices to be logged in at once. If for some reason a different device needs to be logged in, when you log in it will prompt that it'll logoff the longest connected device,
  11. Free standing Starbucks in on deck 4, across from Boleros. On the Promenade is the traditional Cafe Promenade. In the past this had to been one of the biggest factors. One time payment and I mostly don't have to worry about paying anything more. Not being a wine drinker the overage difference isn't that big of a concern and most of the time cocktails offered onboard are within the limits. Exception being a handful in the Bamboo Room on some ships. The other major factor would be who else I'm sailing with. If I have a feeling every night be closing out with the quote of "A good time was had by all." I'm confident the branding of DX will be upon my card.
  12. Grilled Bacon: Have to say that is the best looking slice I've seen in some time. Most of the time I've seen it come out as one blackened slab, one giant grill mark. Chicken Karaage: Please tell me you ate some of it before taking a picture. If not, that would have been some expensive chicken purchased a la carte. Glad we didn't cause too much trauma. It was a pleasure sailing with you as well. Wish it had been a better first experience. With the bad timing of current events it really chipped away at some of the perks and the experience on Harmony in general.
  13. Should be in safe hands. If I recall correctly he was trained by Alan Rodriguez. From the communication chain with our Genie on Harmony the biggest impact was Chef's Table and Izumi Hibachi asking to be booked in advance. My hunch the main reason is these restaurants truly have limited seating and the Genie can't make additional seats appear. The Genie can fit in the other restaurants easily in advance. Mostly it is common sense "what not to pack" items... No handcuffs, extension cords, hot plates, flare guns, car batteries, etc...
  14. Quote from: https://www.orlandosentinel.com/space/os-bz-spacex-launch-falcon-9-canaveral-cosmo-skymed-20220127-6ftn7qys2ne2phxbmuwumaefle-story.html Sunday’s weather was looking great, but as the live stream began ahead of a 6:11 p.m. target liftoff, SpaceX commentator Jesse Anderson said a cruise ship was approaching a no-go zone, and the U.S. Coast Guard was in contact with the ship. Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas was at sea off the coast of Brevard County ahead of the launch after having departed Port Canaveral Sunday afternoon, according to cruisemapper.com.
  15. Best I can provide, very outdated at this point (circa 2016): https://1drv.ms/u/s!AjpWMo-t4z28z01o41ZKQVwQaDPH
  16. Subject of vaccination proof, Florida resident... Currently on Indy and as an experiment I requested a copy of my immunization record that was in the Florida Shots system. Copy of the record can be requested at https://www.flshots.com/flshots/public/ConfidentialInfoAuth.csp Within a few hours I got an email with a PDF file containing the pertinent information (date of immunization, vaccine type/brand, lot number, and provider) . Prior to boarding I submitted a screen shot of the PDF for verification in the Royal app and was approved. At the various checkpoints in the terminal I presented a printed version without any issues, I did have my physical card in the event of a CYA moment. I feel a bit better having an acceptable, and tested, digital to easily physical version of an approved record. Just keep in mind: Past performance is no guarantee of future returns.
  17. If the remaining bid can't be cancelled/modified it is a strong indicator the bid was accepted. Now the fun waiting game for the bid to be finalized and charged.
  18. No, on Quantum class ships only the standard happy hour is offered in the concierge lounge.
  19. Same here bring a cup. Only time I've ever used it is if I happened to have access to in-room beverages. Otherwise I feel it is just like a fancy soda cup that needs to be hauled around. Same applied to the can holder. Where the can holder is really handy if you have a Beach Club cabana and DX package combo. Access to that mini-fridge is great. Plus if everyone has their own unique holder canned beverages don't get mixed up.
  20. Rooms right next to the Royal and UFS would be Crown Lofts. Underneath will be Grand Suites. Suite pool area it towards the aft. The Royal and UFS are towards the front. The sloped area is facing towards the main pools. Also a big screen is going to be between the Royal and UFS.
  21. Think the biggest confusion had more to do at the wine level. Want to say the packages that covered wine were Select, Premium, and Unlimited. At the time I think Select covered beer and wine up to $8. While Premium and Unlimited covered up tp $12. Then you also had premium tea and coffee plus sparkling water included only in the Unlimited package (plus Royal Replenish).
  22. Sometime in the last half hour we've managed to get onboard and explore the many nooks of the suite.
