  1. Did they provide the headphones or was it bring your own? Interesting idea!
  2. My wife and I had a table for two last year (Allure) and this year (Serenade) in the MDR. Months before embarkation, I called RCI and requested a table for two by a window, which we got both trips. I think if you call them well ahead of your trip they will take care of you. With the MTD, you will get moved around the dining room based on what is vacant at the dining time you request.
  3. Is there any other way? If so, it would be adulterous and a complete bastardization of a drink!
  4. How about a Virgin Screw Driver?

    Kayla

I am truly saddened to hear that. My thoughts and prayers for her and her family also.

    Kayla

Seems as though Kayla has (a) dropped off the edge of the world, (b) been deported or (c) had her computer seized by the feds for some sort of investigation. Anyone heard from her recently?
  7. Elevator party, now that is a really cool idea! Of course, it will have some ups and downs.
  8. Usually, after you fulfill your drink quota for the day on your ultimate drink package, you will have quite a glow on. The friendly bartenders will point you in the right direction for the party, which is typically at the end of the bar with all the other glow-ees.
  9. I recommend the two couples with the same TA call the TA and have the TA work it out with Royal.
  10. El Coctelito is a family friendly place within walking distance of the port. Google for location and menu, not overly priced either. This isn't a "Taco Bell" either, authentic Mexican food. Nice outdoor seating as well as indoors. Enjoy!
  11. Did everyone make their reservations through the same travel agency or Royal? We ran into that problem last year. One coupe went through CostCo and the rest of us through Royal. The other couple had to make a couple of phone calls to CostCo with our reservation numbers and it finally all got linked..
  12. Well, there is the nudist beach on the French side of the island. That's about s close to nature as you can get!.....and it's free
  13. On the Count Down To Cruise page there is the On-Line Check In and Cruise Documentation. On board waivers can be found in both the check in section and documentation section.
  14. We were on the Allure last year for a 2 week B2B. Months prior to sailing, I printed off the deck plans and we studied them so once we on board, we had a really good idea of what was where and where we were. No point in spending spending a lot of cruise time go forward-aft, aft-forward looking for something on the wrong deck. I printed decks 3-17. Yeah, there are the "way finders" on each deck, but I found it a lot easier getting familiar with the deck plans ahead of time. Oh, one last thing.....ENJOY and have a great trip!
  15. You do know that senior citizens have "accidents" in a pool also. Why do you think they smile so much when they're in a pool? You can forget about the hot tuns too!
  16. Yeah, I had the same type of swim lessons from my 11 year older brother. Not sure if he was trying to teach me how to swim or trying to get rid of me! Looks like you had some great stuff to play with. I had a stick, an empty can, a beat up old baseball and a very flatulent mutt!
  17. I bought this package for my wife and I for our March 28 cruise on the Allure next year. It was only $15.00 per person and we will find out which restaurant we will be dining at when we get to our room, As I understand it, we can change to a different restaurant if we don't like the one they selected for us. Has anyone here done one of these "first night done right" or is this a really new offering from RCI?
  18. From what I remember about the Navi gym from our first cruise in 2006 is yes, it is manned with instructors and they had classes in one portion of the gym. I'm sure some more recent Navi cruisers will chime in. If not, check it out your first day on board. Have FUN!!
  19. I think there is a Scottish place near there....MacDonald's
  20. So, I read the title "Coaches from LeHavre" and I thought, why is Grubby interested in soccer or tennis coaches on a cruise. Then I read her post and it all made sense.
  21. Well, that's like a Hoover vacuum cleaner.....that sucks!
  22. Yeah, I find t-shirts and bathing suits aren't really hanger worthy.
  23. Thanks Matt. So, on a two week B2B, if I purchase one or two drink cards, can I use them the second week, or do they expire at the end of the first week?
  24. Have never been in JS, yet, but have never had a problem getting extra hangers from our cabin attendant. Would assume the same for you, just ask.
