  1. I still always take the odds. And if you bet $5 or $15 you are able to lay $10 or $20 odds respectively if the point is 5 or 9. That is the only advantage low rollers like me can get. They do allow up to 3x odds if your pass line bet is $25 or more (not me!)
  2. I was disappointed last November to find the $10 on Allure. The Craps tables were empty then too. By Thursday they started cutti g the to $5 just to get some action. I'm on Freedom now and I am happy to report all tables are $5 minimums. No if they would only allow more than single odds on the craps tables.
  3. Never had an issue or even noticed a split/seam.
  4. I am kind of excited to see Adventure take over the 6nt/8nt itineraries that freedom was doing. We love adventure but the southern routes from SJPR are to port intensive for our tastes.
  5. We book two cruises right when they are released, 18 to 24 months in advanve. But we have an adult child who is out of the house and we book the same times of year (2nd week in April & 2nd week in November give or take a week). So for us it is all about the potential saving that are associated with booking early! And there is now downside other than tying up a few hundred in deposit.
  6. Probably it will be just Symphony of the Seas? Guessing.
  7. New (tweaked) release schedule 17054855_Deployment_OpeningSchedule_Flyer.pdf
  8. Hoping this indicates that more than just year around Caribbean will be released this week and include seasonal Caribbean ships also!?
  9. We too have some "cruise rules"; stairs down (always) stairs up (most of the time) but the biggest thing I have learned to do (and it had to be learned) is relax! Now that is my #1 rule.
  10. If you rent one, it generally will be waiting for you in your stateroom and you can get assisted in a regular wheel chair from a RCL employee up the gangway during embarcation.
  11. Sorry I forgot the link http://www.royalcaribbean.com/allaboutcruising/accessibleseas/mobilityImpairment.do
  12. I do not remember which are Royal Caribbean preferred providers, but several 3rd party providers rent scooters to passengers on board cruise ships. My Mother rents on for every cruise and I am always surprised how reasonable the price is. I believe on of the companies is "special needs at sea" I would recommend an accessible state room as the doors are wider to allow easier access. You can certainly contact RCL and here is a link to RCL mobility needs Web site.
  13. I would be surprised if you saw any significant sales in cruise planner this close to the cruise. Not yet been to Labadee, so I can't help there but I will closely watch what others post.
  14. We have rebooked several times, and it is as easy a calling my TA and he takes care of the rest. So my first suggestion would be to use a good travel agent. Some will even check for you every time e RCCL changes their current the promotion. If you insist on not using a TA, just call RCCL and ask to rebook, you will get to keep the same cabins that you originally booked. No additional deposit will be needed. ANY monies you have paid will remain on the new booking. Someone can correct me if I am wrong, but I don't even think you booking number changes?
  15. So with the new deployments be released soon, I was hoping to verify a few things regarding booking while on board at the next cruise desk. Specifically, we plan on booking two cruises as soon as the new itineraries are released through our travel agent before we cruise on April 9th. Will I then be able to rebook the same cabins at the next cruise desk to take advantage of the on board booking incentive. Obviously I will do the math at the time, to make certain it is still to my advantage, I just wanted to make sure they were able to rebook a cruise that I had booked through my TA? Thanks in Advance.
  16. We did the cave tubing and zip line through the cruise line (Princess). We are not shy about doing private excursions, but tendering plus long drive made the extra few dollars worth it.if it is the same location, the cave tubing was beautiful but it is a relatively crowded venue. Not so much inside the cave, they do a good job spacing the groups, but they move a lot of people through. Same with the zip line course. It was the best course we have ever done (truly in the canopy of the dense jungle) but they move you through it fast! Lunch was fantastic!
  17. We love the southern Caribbean and we love sea days which equals Navigator. We have been on Adventure twice and absolutely love the ship, but 5 ports is just a bit too much for a 7 night cruise (for us anyway).
  18. Will be watching this thread with interest. We'll be back on st maarten in November
  19. Matt had a guest post about chef Emily's food tour on cozumel which we are doing great in April. I'll let you how we liked it if you are not cruising before then. http://www.cozumelchef.com http://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2016/10/04/excursion-focus-cozumel-food-tour
  20. We are balcony people, preferably a JS. The JS offers just enough extra space to make it livable in our opinion. Because we book so early we can usually book a JS for a very reasonable rate. Regardless of if we upgrade to a JS, a balcony is a must for us. I spend at least 45 minutes several times per day on sea days just watching g the ocean go by.
  21. My favorite pair is this Columbia drainmaker. Fantastic drainage through the insole and can pass as a regular athletic shoe https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_ime_c_3_14?url=search-alias%3Dfashion-mens-shoes&field-keywords=columbia+drainmaker+iii&sprefix=Columbia+drain%2Caps%2C858&crid=THRN7QCKKCBS
  22. For us, the two biggest advantages of using a travel agent are; 1) having an advocate when something g goes wrong. Thankfully we have never needed our TA in an emergency but my parents have several times. Although we have never personally needed it, you can't put a price on piece of mind. 2) extra booking incentives! Our TA always gives us additional OBC or some other booking incentive above and beyond what royal Caribbean in offering. Literally free money. Additionally, there is no downside.
  23. I did this several times this week because of the recent sale. I received all refunds within 4 business days.
  24. I think radiance or sister does seasonal one way trips from West coast to hawaii
