My opinion for several years now: FedEx is THE WORST delivery company out there!

On January 9th, Chris posted on Twitter that he has two more weeks left on Odyssey. The next day he posted that after 7 months onboard, he NEVER got Covid.

Arrival into town same day as embarkation?
SPS replied to AlwaysRollin's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
As primarily winter time cruisers living in Michigan, I agree with @rjac. Simply because we can't predict what the weather will be like, we always book flights to arrive the day before and have a bit of a buffer in case of delays/cancellations. -

This screenshot from the top of the sample menu made me hopeful, but yeah, the app show similar hours. They vary a bit based on being a sea day or port day.

Does El Loco Fresh no longer serve breakfast (or just not during the current protocols)? Sample menus on the Royal Caribbean website indicate a breakfast selection from 8:00-11:00, but the RC App indicates that it is only open in the afternoon to early evenings on our upcoming Odyssey sailing. I was really looking forward to having a Mexican style breakfast every morning.

For anyone else that comes across this topic, I was fortunate enough for my wife to give me tickets to Dream Theater for Christmas! February 22 at the Fillmore in Detroit!

What happens when you answer yes to a question on the health survey?
SPS replied to MLH's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Well, at least you still get to go then! -
...and Now For Something Completely Different!

On our last cruise on Vision in January 2020 (Two years ago? sigh.) We observed a mock water rescue being performed by the lifeguard staff one morning. I can't remember all the details, but, it was very impressive to watch. I would assume that these drills are performed regularly for the staff to stay sharp. -
This is for an excursion, not the port stop. They've even advised you to look at other options in the cruise planner later in the message. FYI: "for operational reasons" can mean a host of things from business closures to staffing issues to no longer having a service contract with Royal Caribbean. I also agree with @AspiringCruisePlanner, you may want to update the topic title to address that it is for an excursion, not the port stop.

Get a few drinks in me and I'm going to seriously mispronounce that name with certain expletive!

True but Boaty McBoatface OF THE SEAS is NOT!!!

This could be for a host of reasons that do not even have to do with COVID.. They could be out of business, no longer have a service agreement with the cruise line, or "other".

Emed and Optum covid test expiration dates tracker.

Glad to see you will get them soon. It still looks like they need to rework some of their logistics and/or IT. It seems to be a complete roll of the dice as to whether or not you'll get a shipping notice. -
Does anyone have any idea if most ports have LNG available? I'm wondering if the availability of LNG may limit the number of ports where the Icon Class ships can originate or visit.

I am totally in this camp too. I like having things like boarding passes, set sail passes, etc. on my phone, but I always have an envelope of printed copies at the ready. How many times have I seen the boarding gates at the airport seem unable to read the codes on people's phone screens?

For the sake of curiosity, I put "Wonder" into a thesaurus website. Some of the results would NOT be good for a ship name!
-
Suggest changing title to "Presenting Negative Test Results" to clarify the intended pronunciation and meaning of "Present".

What is the best food you've had at a port?
SPS replied to JennaRCB's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
Good to know! We'll be in both of those ports in August! -
It'd be the other way around. You'd avoid getting an internet package by paying just the $1.99 to message others. THIS is exactly why I'm interested in the chat feature instead of using another messaging app. We don't buy any of the internet packages. We like to be unplugged during our cruises. My wife and I will want the chat feature to track each other down when needed instead of leaving a note in the stateroom in the hopes the other will stop by.

I have an extra case of emed tests never opened the case at all
SPS replied to Kaci's topic in Royal Caribbean Discussion
I suggest that you add the actual expiration date to this post.
