michelle got a reaction from WAAAYTOOO in Tell me this MSC Seaside video doesn’t look... off
Just had clients sail with MSC Seaside last week and they liked the food overall, but said service was not the same and the staff seemed to be annoyed with all questions they asked, no towel animals in room so the kids were bummed but they said the Ship was beautiful. Staterooms (they had a balcony) were a little smaller. They like Disney and RCI better

michelle got a reaction from coneyraven in When is your next Celebrity/Azamara Cruise?
Just booked a 4 night Cuba on March 11 2019 from Miami on the Journey
Going to be hosting this one but man the rooms are flying away
Message or email me if you want pricing or want to join us in Havana

michelle got a reaction from DocLC in Lobsters, Iguanas, and Snorkeling excursion in Roatan
@DocLC great pictures and information - I'll have to add it on to my list of things to do
I love Roatan and I think they have the best zipline there - You get to do about 12 lines for a
pretty reasonable price all the way from the top of the mountain down to the base
AND welcome @LadyDawg

michelle got a reaction from tiny260 in Travel agent or not?
Hey JLMoran - thanks for having my back! and I'm now getting casino notices for deals not sure if that is because Casino is
sick of me calling in or what? lol. Be well..l And MEI takes it serious to help you have the best cruise at the most affordable offer
we can't always give away the farm in pricing but hope we make up for it other ways...

michelle reacted to Matt in Do you use a travel agent or book directly through RCL?
I think DocLC nailed it. Not all agents are the same (I'm sure Michelle agrees).

michelle got a reaction from monctonguy in Upcoming Celebrity Cruises
hey I'm on this one also - we need to meet up and say hi
-
michelle got a reaction from JLMoran in Lower prices at specialty dining in overnight ports?
Yep agree with DocLC - they often offer discounts for dining if you stay on the ship and eat
there - but again you will not usually know this in advance as its driven by the ship and the sailing.
Waterlot Inn in Bermuda is a good steakhouse fyi

michelle got a reaction from DocLC in Upcoming Celebrity Cruises
Awesome choice - Panama is on my list of places I want to go

michelle got a reaction from EmersonNZ in Accommodation Fairbanks
Springhill Suites is nice but a little more money and then Rivers Edge I like too - I'll have to keep in mind Sophie's
station as an option too - great topic

All the of our agents do work hard to monitor all pricing and sales for you once you are MEI clients
AND we appreciate the support of some many Royal Caribbean blog clients and always
are looking for new one's - and sometimes TA don't work out to be a 'perfect" match
which is why we have a team of many here! HAPPY Mid-July!
BTW a TIP - Alaska Cruises is a hot market for 2017 and 2018. Reminder to book shore tours early
if you do have cruises, cause we have seen some start to get full.
-
michelle got a reaction from Leja in money on the cruise
totally agree with Matt - depends on what you do! if you don't have a drink package you can spend
on drinks, ship store and shore tours seem to be the biggest item for me - I tend to spend about $300
on 7 night sailings cause I don't get the drink packages, just fyi.

michelle got a reaction from Matt in Universal Orlando package through RC
I have never booked a Land & Sea with Universal. Honestly I think its better to book them separately
The reason is, if the parks actually go on sale (Disney included) you cannot get that sale
usually if you are booked land/sea. I've done a lot of Land and Sea options and work with
Disney as well, and most clients prefer this. its pretty seamless too depending on what you want
Hope this helps and February is a great time to go, if you travel before 2/14 prices are even lower.

michelle got a reaction from DocLC in Middle Name
Your documents (PHOTO ID) has to match the name you sail with. This is for Customs. They screen the manifest 72 hours
prior to the ship sailing - I agree it would be nice to have a preferred name area, but that will never happen
since its a legal thing with immigration etc. etc.

michelle got a reaction from Shawnemact in When do we get luggage tags?
Agreed White Sox fan but I have also asked airport employees at the convenience
stores also for a stapler and put them on there same day! but I never come in the
same day hardly ever anymore after almost missing a ship

michelle got a reaction from tkltomp in Another medical evacuation off Ovation of the Seas
pamw -this is the biggest reason I tell older clients to get cruise insurance
Yes the PASSENGAR pays for the helicopter, and if they are not insured, and/or
do not have the credit on hand, they will not send a helicopter out - this does
happen. And yes it costs between $35,000 - $50,000 depending on where you
are for the flights.
