I think the MDR kiosks are there to service MDR requests like changing from MyTime to early or arranging seating with another cabin or requesting a table by the window.

UDP bookings for a week long cruise can take 20 minutes to make.  That would leave MDR inquiries dreadfully slow, unless they also allowed specialty restaurants to service MDR inquiries, in which case UDP people could get stuck waiting at specialty kiosks.

Probably cleaner to keep it simple.  Specialty inquiries are handled at specialty, MDR inquiries are handled in the MDR.

Thanks. You are probably right about cleaner. Specialty are more important so we will start there.

    Decor

Extended answer: At one point in history Royal has introduced a concept known as Dynamic Dining on Quantum when it entered service in 2014. The goal was to have several small dining rooms that guests could pick and choose where to dine. At the time traditional dining times were still being held on to by many. During this period Oasis and Allure during their dry docks had the main dining rooms separated in name and décor to match what restaurant they'd eventually become. The actual separation of menus never occurred as the deployment was canceled.

Come 2016 after several attempts to gain attraction the plug was pulled on the program. When Oasis was Amped the dining room was once again unified. Allure with getting Amped delayed never got the unified dining room make over during dry dock.

Sure this is somewhat butchered, just the way I remember things.

Interesting - thanks for the information

Maybe I have a soft spot for lounge piano, maybe the tequila made me a soft audience, but I enjoyed listening to Sam the Stowaway on my recent trip on Indy.  Anyone else enjoy his performances?  I'm a little disappointed he doesn't seem to have any online presence.

He is very entertaining and used to play in the elevators.

We’ve lived in Maine our whole lives and cruised on Adventure out of Nassau at the beginning of September.  We were hot and planned our days around shade and breeze.  Given the choice, we’d do it all over again with no hesitation.

On the flip side, we were at the CocoCay Beach Club the beginning of this month, and the only other people in the pool were from Minnesota….

It’s funny because it is true!

Also, for those of you who love the Limoncello at Giovanni’s, this is the brand they used (at least on Odyssey as of last August; I’m assuming it was the same on Freedom).

Is it alcoholic or flavored water?  Have not heard of it before but looks tasty.

I have been pricing trips lately and before the pandemic mess, when I would put in the usual C&A number, state, etc the price would drop and I admit I would get a weird satisfaction out of seeing the price drop. Now when I put it all in I always get the "you have the best price" indicator. Not satisfying at all.

Is everyone seeing this? Am I missing something, not ticking the right box, not hitting the right RC combo or is this just how it's going to be moving forward. I realize this is silly and because of RC math really means nothing in the long run but I miss it.

Yes I noticed the new box too.

Per RCCL representative, the Coca Cola freestyle machine has more than 100 different flavor combinations for dispensing but how many of those are sugar free?

I see someone said they have Coke Zero and Sprite Zero.  How about Canada Dry Ginger Ale Zero sugar?

They also have Powerade zero and vitamin water.

  8. I loved it and will definitely do it again. We only had a group of 5. Sites are incredible and you can go as fast or slow as you want as there was two guides  one leading and one trailing to help. It is an actual tour and they tell you some of the history in the area. It is all open water touring around the different islands. I was surprised how far out we went.

When did you do it?  The last I checked the plane was out of bounds.  It was too far away for many and they had too many tired swimmers apparently.

Interesting- In November 2021 I asked but did not go out because it was far and water was choppy but there was a lifeguard and platform out where the guy pointed.  Maybe he knew it was impossible to get out there that day. LOL
