  1. LOL I hear you. I'm pre-coffee too, but I was beginning to wonder if I was seeing something no one else did!
  2. Related but not - what site/source do you use to manage your stocks?
  3. But one says Jun (June) and the other says Jul (July). What am I missing here?
  4. No problem! Hope it helps.
  5. It's also almost unbelievable that the web site is functioning and working quickly. *knocks on wood*
  6. I found this by doing a quick Google search of Independence of the Seas muster station locations.
  7. Not showing for me, though the drink packages look a bit discounted.
  8. @Kathleen I've noticed that Hyatt House usually has free breakfast while Hyatt Place may or may not. If it's important to you, I'd double check. Just FYI!
  9. Whenever I get a Royal Up email, I always go back to the sailing to see what is actually available. On my last cruise, I could bid for oceanview or balcony (any category for both), but when I checked inventory, the only thing left was two Panoramic Oceanview rooms. Needless to say, I only bid on that room type and then dropped my bid when I saw them disappear a few weeks later from the inventory.
  10. I LOVE THESE EMAILS!!!!!!
  11. Welcome to Royal Caribbean IT, where your app will tell you one date and the web site will tell you another! This has happened for both my October 2022 and January 2023 cruises. Typically, it's the second (later) date that is accurate. Try both though, it doesn't hurt anything.
  12. My TA recommended that I come in a day early, stay at a hotel near the airport, and then just come over to the aiport in the morning to catch the Royal Caribbean shuttle to Port Canaveral. It's about $35/person each direction, which is perfect for a solo traveler. Your TA can arrange this or you can call Royal Caribbean directly to book the shuttle. I've done this regularly in Los Angeles, so I anticipate something very similar for Orlando. EDIT: Something extra I learned the last time I was on a shuttle - if something happens to the shuttle (e.g. flat tire, accident, stuck in traffic), the ship will wait for the shuttle because it's an official RC transportation. This is very similar to the ship waiting for RC shore excursions if they are late back to ship.
  13. @Kaffee32Cruise Compass from a recent sailing to see teen activities. https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/cruise-compasses/allure-of-the-seas/sun-02122023-0000
  14. If it helps anyone going forward, I too made a spa reservation via the Cruise Planner. The spa wasn't aware of it until about 30 minutes prior to the appointment time, when they called me in my room and asked to schedule a bit later in the day because they were currently full. No problem for me, but just FYI.
  15. "Hey Mom, I'm just checking in now, I'll be up to the pool deck in a few minutes. Can you get me a milk for when I arrive? I want to start drinking right away..." @Bestcee
  16. @WAYNOhow did the bags work out for you?
  17. I'm giggling at the idea of a 5 year old trying to manage check in alone. Of course they will let her check in with her parents! My guess is they ran out of check-in slots for the 10:30 time and just bumped her over.
  18. If you buy on board, they put a sticker on your Sea Pass.
  19. That is so strange! I just did a quick search based on the last two comments and immediately got results for January 2025, as an example.
  20. Navigator's LA schedule is now available until April 2025!!!!! https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/sites/default/files/2023-02/NV_ShortCarib_2024_2025_PreOPEN.pdf

  22. You arrive at the port with all your stuff. As you go towards the check-in area, men with large rolling carts (think Costco flat carts for huge purchases) will approach and ask to take your luggage. These are the porters. Totally fine to give your luggage to them. Tip them $1-2 per bag. Of all the times I've done this, there was only once when my bag didn't show up at my stateroom door by 4pm - it was two doors down! Very easy to find, gave us a good laugh ("oh, maybe we're supposed to be in a better room?"). It's definitely nerve wracking the first time you do it, but it's easy-peasy and safe. Enjoy your cruise! PRO TIP - at the end of your cruise, use the porters after you've collected your luggage. 9 times out of 10 they will have a shorter line to get you through scanners faster and on your way faster. Again, tip $1-2 per bag, but so worth it.
  23. The latest Royal Caribbean Blog post made me check (for the billionth time) west coast USA cruises after April 2024. THEY ARE FINALLY AVAILABLE!!!!!!! West Coasters, go forth!
  24. Yup, our 4 nighter had formal night on the second night. We were the only ones really dressed up! Felt a bit awkward...
