  1. My wife likes playing the slots. I found it more cost effective to just buy a bunch of slot machines and put them in my games room
  2. Kind of a novelty at first, up until my last cruise never really used it. Last cruise my one kid had just turned 21 so we used it a lot (that was his go to bar)
  3. We've always picked our room and prefer mid to aft. First cruise we had one in the front, waters were rough and got bounced around quite a bit. No interest in GTY if there is the possibility it could be in the front
  4. Do you have a link to the follow up piece? Few things seemed off in the original
  5. Never had an issue getting the table size we request, however we let our TA do it when we book
  6. For traditional dining, correct you have your table, no need for an addition reservation. The MDR does serve breakfast every day, but only lunch on sea days. It is only one level of the MDR that serves breakfast and lunch (cruise compass will tell you, thinking deck 3). You just show up for those, no reservations needed
  7. We just always flip our phone to manual as we walk on the ship the first day
  8. Only time I remember going to Ben and Jerry's was when my kids were young. Most part I rarely see people there
  9. Only flew into Newark once. There was a hotel shuttle pickup beside/part of Terminal C (near Vallet parking P4). Guess that might be the place? We came into Terminal A and had to the their shuttle rail to get their
  10. I just always email [email protected] with the request form and stockholder statement If you go to section 11 Where can I obtain the Shareholder Onboard Credit Offer Request Form? has a You can complete your Shareholder Onboard Credit Offer Request electronically link that seems to work
  11. Until people stop paying the price, expect more of this
  12. I've never had luck using the check in icon at the bottom (always get an error, different ones depending on os), had to go to the person icon at the top on that page there is checkin section that worked for me
  13. Last cruise they had multiple lines outside the terminal based on boarding time, they were checking and directing passengers to the correct line
  14. Mine was pending a few day ago, but it's went through officially
  15. I've been on ships where I departed earlier, some departed on time and some up to an hour late. My office in the Toronto area. I intentionally go in and leave outside of rush hour traffic (if there really is a thing). I can drive 50 times, the first 49 I have no hurry to get home and it's smooth sailing. The one time I need to be home and they were be 50 accidents, highways closures, you name it. I guess what I'm saying is this thing called Murphy's Law, I seen it in action and prepare for it
  16. I would have waited to until after the Dr appointment to cancel myself (at least then you'd have a medical form). Not sure when your symptoms started and when your cruise leaves, but you might have be over it by the time the cruise departs.
  17. Just checked, nothing really spectacular that would convince me to purchase anything.
  18. https://www.cruisehive.com/mobility-scooter-causes-fire-scare-on-po-cruise-ship/114320 Seeing a battery for a mobility scooter had a issue on P&O recently (and that's a medical device). I'd doubt they'd let e-bikes on
  19. Definitely seems like ChatGPT or something like that (somebody stirring the pot). Sorry but I'm in my 50's and don't like rap either, but I don't think I've ever heard rap on any ship I've been on yet. The music by the pool is geared towards the younger crowd, but throughout the ship the vast majority seems to music that came out when I was in elementary school. They literally have a 70 disco night party and a 80's night. Same goes with talking on a cell phone, not sure I've ever seen anybody talk on their phone on a ship (you'd have one heck of a phonebill)
  20. Last cruise they had multiple lines based on checkin time. They checked the set sail pass and directed you to the proper line
  21. I’d imagine for everybody who wants a traditional cruise, there are a thousand who don’t. I don’t like having to do everything on app, but I get it.
  22. Was looking at that cruise but decided against it since it was on the Grandeur, might have to revisit
  23. Thats the one on the left hand side just before you hit the main gate? How is the shuttle getting off going back to the car?
  24. Definitely recommend doing as much as possible before arriving at the port. It takes about 5-7 minutes to enter all the info per passenger. Worth the effort while breezing through the terminal.
  25. Been let off early,on time and late wouldn't count on any precise time. Last cruise we were doing carry off, was suppose to start at 6:45, since we had a person in a wheelchair, to avoid elevator congestion we went down at 6:10. As we were getting off the elevators the crew members said "Ok we cleared" and started disembarking, was in my car by around 6:20
