  1. Yes Everything crossed!! I suspect, that going forward we will be regular Royal cruisers! we fell in love with them on Anthem, such an amazing way to travel!
  2. A little early, but lets get this roll call started. This will be our second RC cruise, our first being Anthem transatlantic in April 24. Booked this as a surprise for my husbands birthday, he thinks we are going for a few days to Barcelona, but instead of history, gaudi etc, I will be shoving him onto our first Oasis class ship. We are from the UK, so will be flying in the day before. Excited yet nervous to see that this will be its first sailing post refit, so hopefully all goes to plan! Look forward to sailing with you all!
  3. Hi All, We are due to check in for our sailing this evening. And given we are in the UK and will have to get up at 4am to check in, I have a question. We have booked the RCCL provided shuttle from the airport to the cruise terminal. What time should I select the arrival time for? Does it even matter, if we are on a Cruise line organised shuttle? (When we sailed with another cruise line, your arrival time was ignored if arriving via one of their shuttles) For context, we meet the cruise line representative at 10.30 and the coach leaves at 11. We are only going from EWR to Bayonne. Thanks, W
  4. Hi, A quick question, thanks in advance for your answers. We are travelling out of Cape Liberty next year, and got a reasonable price for the transfer from the airport to the pier. I have been told that the representative will meet us at terminal C Newark, at 10.30 for an 11.30 departure. My questions are: Will it be obvious, where to meet the rep / the transfer ? How does it work with regards to port arrival?, if the bus gets us to the port before our allocated boarding time ? (Or will we be allocated a suitable time / be able to board, as we are using RCCL provided transport?) Thanks again!
  5. If you like history or fancy seeing some really old ships I suggest riding the train to Portsmouth harbour and see the historic dockyard. They have the wreck of the Mary Rose (sank in the 1500s raised in the 80s) as well as HMS Victory which fought in the battle of trafalgar. Or there is the Seacity Museum which covers Southampton history , including the titanic Alternatively rent a car and go for a drive into the new forest (picturesque and lots of free roaming ponies)
  6. Hi All, Booked on this cruise yesterday. Flying over to the US from the UK a few days before, and plan on exploring the area a little bit. We are on a transatlantic this october from the UK to Barbados, on a UK cruise line. We have sailed, Disney, Princess, P & O and MSC , so looking forward to seeing what Royal Caribbean is like
