Chili got a reaction from Jill in Wonder OTS to sail from Port Canaveral beginning November 2022
Wonder is moving from the ship yard on Friday to Marseille where it will dock.
There was a report in a Marseille news paper that it will have the Chinese signage removed.
Also Hong Kong is supposed to be tightening it’s boarders to the outside world and relaxing it’s boarder to China. Anyone entering from the outside has to quarantine for upto 21 days and exit visas will be difficult to obtain.
That will be inline with China.

Well it’s doable when we can book a Singapore cruise.
But with the Covid tests ,What I worked out ( I could be wrong)
A paid test in Sydney (Free government test isn’t acceptable)
A paid test arriving in Singapore and you have to isolate in a approved hotel until results, about 6-24 hours.
If you stay a few nights before the cruise as tests are only valid for 2 days
    another test precruise .
    Another before disembark.
A test before flying home if you stay a couple of nights.
    And another in Sydney.
So that’s 5-6 tests at about $200 each and if you have had Covid in the last 6 months you can test positive.
If you have had Covid in the last 6 months you need to get a certificate that says so and you are no longer contagious.

It just seems like to much hassle to me . I have trouble working out the local train system, let alone navigating bureaucracy like this.

    It’s early days.
But at the moment, I believe you have to test negative before boarding a flight to Australia.
Also I read the Arab peninsula isn’t in the bubble.
But things are moving quickly and it’s hard to keep up.

At the moment it Singapore residents.
There was a article how the Singapore government was going to offer incentives for Australians to travel there and go on a cruise.
I have looked into it and I don’t think it’s worth it.
There’s close to a $1,000 worth of Covid tests involved and if you come down as positive you have to isolate for 10 days and until you test negative.
Here one article,it’s a bit old but gives you a idea.

I don’t think it would be viable to bring Ovation to Sydney now.
The fuel  for a return journey across the pacific and 3-4 months at a reduced capacity wouldn’t pay.
I think Radiance would be better.
Its in Cadiz at the moment and hasn’t got any commitment until Alaska next year.
It has to get to Alaska and could do 3-4 months in Sydney on the way.
    Transfer Ovation’s crew to Radiance.

    Quantam is also a possibility.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Royal gets sick of China’s games with trying to get Spectrum approved to start. (China has vowed to block U.S. ships in retaliation for new sanctions)
Royal Caribbean May move spectrum to Singapore and send Quantum down under until Alaska.
Quantam could be here in a few weeks doing trials if it had to.

Here’s the bill going before parliament. It’s scheduled for Wednesday.
Dont bother reading it you will get a headache.

Not that Ovation really *has* a crew at the moment. I know our waiter from Ovation got transferred and started on Allure this week. From what I gather, most of the crew either got transfers or went home, and none of them have been told if they're going back to Ovation next season or if they're going to stay on their new assignments.

I believe the ships that sail in Australia and then to Alaska are the biggest revenue ships.

    As for Wonder.
I was reading a article how the US senate is currently drafting more sanctions on China.
China said if it is passed it will block all U.S. commercial ships , freight and cruise from using its ports .   Flagged or not.
