We switched our Edge 2025 9N Hawaii to Vancouver cruise to a 10 Night Ultimate Southern on Beyond. The Wifey really wanted to do Hawaii but wasn't sold on the potential poor weather on the way up to Vancouver.

The Wife got one but I didn't. I'll have to check my app notification settings.

The Wife and I just booked our 1st Celebrity cruise for our 30th anniversary! \O/ The Edge, Hawaii to Vancouver, May 2025

I'm getting tired of these cruise ships stopping and helping people in "need". It's ruining my CruiseMapper experience. I'm asking for NOT on board credit if this keeps happening.

Which ship shows a different itinerary? I think the ships are still showing the original itineraries as they haven’t been switched over yet. That is at least the case with the two we have that will be transferred.
Adventure now has Port Canaveral itineraries for sale for spring of 2024. They were selling stuff out of Galveston for those dates before the switch announcement. I'm not concerned as 2024 is a long ways away and either itinerary original or potential new is fine with us. EDIT: Shipmate has now updated Adventure to Port Canaveral and the NEW itinerary that I see is available for booking at RC. Nothing been updated on my side either in the planner or the app.

My 3/29/2024 Voyager cruise that is getting moved to Adventure shows a different itinerary now for that date.. (if it is being booked as a new cruise) I know our email said the ports would stay the same but that doesn't seem accurate as this is a new listing for Adventure.

Odd, since the bahamas hasn't required a test for vaccinated to enter the country since mid june.
Yeah it's strange, but I did confirm that it does say that. Not sure what's going on. I wonder if it has something to do with the amount of unvaccinated carnival will start allowing to cruise? EDIT: One of the more knowledgeable posters said it was changed last night around 10:30. Not sure how he would know that but he is a decent poster as FB posters go.

We were booked on Voyager for an 8-night leaving from Port Canaveral on March 1, 2024.
We don't mind going Adventure instead, but we really want to get the same cabin we were in on Voyager. We booked very early to get an aft balcony. It appears that cabin 9692 is basically the same on both ships...our fingers are crossed.
We were on the March 29th 2024 Voyager cruise. Right now when I look as if I'm doing a new booking the itinerary is different then our original one. The original Voyager was to Aruba, Bonaire and Labadee. The Adventure one they are selling currently is to Labadee, St. Thomas, St Croix and the Dominican Republic. My TA seems to think they just haven't updated the system yet. The wording in the letter seems to indicate that it should be the same itinerary, but who knows. I'm pretty sure these are new listings as she was supposed to be in Galveston at the time. No biggie either way we like both of them. Although we haven't been to St. Croix or the Dominican yet. EDIT: Also looked and our cabin is not available so we might of already been unofficially moved over.

My March 2024 Voyager 8 night out of Port Canaveral just got moved to an 8 night Adventure out of Port Canaveral but with a different itinerary (maybe). So looks like going from Lauderdale to Canaveral at some point.

We often get cabins near the stairs/elevators and have never had a huge issue with noise. Occasionally you'll get a loud bunch getting off and walking by the cabin but it's always been minimal.

We're also considering Celebrity for our 30th anniversary cruise in 2025. I'll be Diamond after the 2024 cruise. I kind of want to take advantage of the Diamond drinks though so might stick with Royal for that cruise. Edit: Seeing that drinks, wi-fi etc are included with Celebrity depending on upgrade package (I think I knew that but forgot) I did the math and for comparable cruise on an edge class ship compared to something like the Wonder it cost's pretty much the same after the Royal cruise planner extras.

The plan is for me to be Diamond before our 30th anniversary cruise in 2025 (TBD). I was trying to finagle a way to get Diamond before our Voyager cruise in 2024 ((I'll have 73 pts before 81 after)) without having to take another cruise but numbers wise or $$ wise or a combo of both ( jumping up to JS on one of the long ones) doesn't look doable. Oh well, Diamond after Voyager it is.

Solo in a JS would get you triple points. That is 12 points on a four night cruise.
Thanks for the answer, I was looking again and found that same answer on cruise critic. I guess I got confused by the triple part and didn't realize they did the points different for suites.

Hey all, I'm trying to get accurate info for planning purposes. Going solo on a 4 nighter in 23. Right now I'm in an inside cabin. I know for that I'll get 8 points for the solo inside. I'm assuming if I bumped it up to a junior suite I would get 16. Is this correct?
I've seen stuff on fb about triple points 16+4=20 but that doesn't seem right. ((This was booked recently so not under any double point promotion. So nothing like that to confuse the math )) Thanks

Same happened to me in January. I received the email but never showed in my app. My husband had both app and email. I did the same as you and called and tried to have it put in app. I worried! All was just fine. We both printed our emailed results and just showed them at check in. It was fine. They literally looked for 3 things: name, date, results.
Cool thanks!

Yes, I usually use the one that they email. If you can print it out, I would as it will save time at check in.
Yes have a screen shot and printed.

Hey all, I don't want to start another thread so I'll necro this one. I just did the emed test and got the results fine. I have a screenshot and printed it out. However the results aren't going to the Navica app. I called and they are supposedly trying to fix it. My question is, is just the emed lab report good enough? (no QR code with it.) Thanks

I didn't realize they were the 4th busiest cruise port in N.A.

Only Radiance and Vision class ships can pass under the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. That bridge will never be raised up, so Royal Caribbean will need to keep some of those classes of ships around or build another ship small enough to pass under that bridge if they wish to continue to sail out of the Port of Tampa. And Tampa's not the only one with this issue.
Four ports that probably wont get bigger cruise ships in the future | Royal Caribbean Blog
Thanks! Now I know where I found the info before. I think at some point Tampa will lose it's cruise business. (years from now) Especially as New Orleans and Galveston grow in market share, as they service the same itineraries.

Ok, I've got a question that's bugging me. I'm pretty good at the Google machine but can't find the answer. (@ one time I think I knew.) What is the largest Royal Caribbean ship class that can get under the Skyway bridge? (Port of tampa) To add another question for discussion, When do you think the Port of Tampa will no longer be a viable cruise port because of said Skyway?

Just to update: We were there last week and it looked fine.

We are going to be there on the 31st and we have people that are having their excursions canceled. Nothing like the cabanas etc only stuff like jet skis, island visits, Snorkeling, etc.
