Wow, did not expect to see a Roll Call this far into the future. My wife and I and 2 close friends will also be sailing with the famous SpeedNoodles. I hope to see you on board.

It's still quite a way out - but who else is on the cruise AND excited to cruise from Galveston to Key West, the Bahamas and Perfect Day. I wish RCL would make this a regular cruise from Galveston.

We like the Liberty OTS but she definitely needs a little TLC. Her Amp is overdue.

We booked today on the 9 day cruise from Galveston on Radiance in February 2023. Looking forward to the different ports of call.

I called again today - sat on with a C&A rep for 25 minutes then was referred to the Guest Relations Desk. That rep told me to wait another 5 - 7 business days. If no email by then call back again. I don't have a good feeling.

Like TexDog we were on the 10/10 - 10/17 sailing on the Liberty. We also have not received our photos. I called the Crown and Anchor line a week ago and was told it could take up to 28 days to receive the link.

We have 3 bids pending for our cruise this Sunday. I noticed RCL had 8 1 BR GS yesterday around noon plus 2 OS. I checked again at 4:30 - they were down to 3 1BR GS and 0 OS. All my bids - 1 for a 1BR GS and OS are still pending. It appears they may be making assignments but yet no email or change in bid status. I can still modify as of this morning.

Agreed - let's keep our fingers crossed for a "more better" deal. If we see a deal - let's alert everyone.

Check-in for Liberty OTS October 10 sailing opened for about 10 minutes (at least for me at about 1:30 central today). I got to the finish and site said I was all set - had to pick the only check-in time of 3pm. Then it stopped working. I tried to look at the SetSail docs and nothing happened. Logged back in and site now says check-in not available. Oh well, even if I have to start over - it was nice to go through the process.

Thanks BrianB. I guess the best course of action is check a couple times a day to see if check-in is open.

FYI, Liberty OTS is expected in Fort Lauderdale this coming Monday 8/23. She will start her Test Cruise on September 18. The Test Cruise will be the same as Independence OTS, 4 days in length, ending 9/22. It will be a few days, assuming no issues for the CDC to approve. She should be approved and ready to sail before her first sailing with paying customers on October 3.

For those that have been able to check-in, whether with the app or on-line, did you first receive an email notice that check-in was available? Mike

We have 3 cruises scheduled - 1st one in October of this year - for that one - we are staying on the ship - no excursions. We may step off the ship but will stay in the port area. The other cruises are late 2022. We will re-evaluate when the time comes.

Liberty completed the test drive - then appear to load up on a lot of diesel for ride home Now she is sitting - moored for the past couple of days - maybe to load crew or address other non dry dock upgrades. We'll see.

Galveston Steve, I saw the same thing with Liberty. Maybe it was a test drive and they will sign the papers today and start the trip back to the US soon. I checked this morning and there is a pilot boat next to Liberty. Maybe she'll head back today.

smokeybandit, Hotels differ somewhat but most do not book out beyond 6 months. My advice is to call the hotels to check on their policies and see if they will take reservation over the phone.

Three cruises ago we upgraded to the Junior Suite - no going back now. My wife loves the bath tub, much better than the smaller than an old fashion telephone booth shower. The extra square feet may not sound like much on paper - but is noticeable once you get to the room. The double points for a suite is also pretty significant. You can't take any cruise for $500.

Nice video - we appreciate you touring the ship and noting the differences. How cool to be only at 25% capacity.
