  1. Anyone heading up the CA coast on Radiance? I saw her hanging out off the coast of Seal Beach/Long Beach this evening. I know it's a little silly, but after the last two years, it is so nice to see the ships back in service and making their way up the coast to the Alaskan season.
  2. Wishing for his man-bits to be larger and used a term which could also refer to a rooster (clock without the "l")
  3. I grabbed a couple of Cohiba and Montecristos while in Havana a few years ago. Thought a few of each would be enough, but oh how I wished later that I had bought a few more.
  4. From Gold to Diamond in less than a year. Traveling solo, and a jr. suite in June to boost me into diamond range. Not a 'status' kind of person, but I won't say no to those free drinks added to my account each day.
  5. Definitely airplane mode. I get an internet package if I know I will want to keep in touch through social media/email. Otherwise family/friends know that I am unreachable by phone.
  6. I had to request a cruise compass on my Jan. cruise... not automatically delivered
  7. This is an awesome thread... thank you! I'm a west coaster (Disneyland is my jam) looking to check out WDW. At Disneyland we have to pay separately for entrance to each park (DL and CA Adventure). Do you have to pay separately for each different park, or do you have access to all with one ticket? I'm pretty sure I know the answer, but I'm just curious. I'm moving to the east coast soon, so if I want to hang out with the Mouse, I'm going to have to learn more about WDW. @WAAAYTOOO, I'll be curious to hear what your hubby thinks of WDW, seeing as how he grew up with DL.
  8. I felt the same dang way! We happened to be in the area of the theater the day after we saw it, and watched as people exited the theater with that, "What just happened?" kind of look on their face.
  9. @SPS, you da man!! I see some yumminess on that list that I need to try on my next cruise.
  10. I also heard great things about Salsa Salsa Margarita... a couple of friends went and had a great time. Traveling solo I tried out the RC tours that tour the city (sorry, I can't remember the names). Neither was too bad, learned a bit about Mazatlan and Puerta Vallerta. Being the first cruise there just wasn't much info on the excursions, and honestly none of them "wowed" me. If I had to take the cruise again, I would definitely go out on my own like San Diego Garrett did or would look at some of the private tour operators.
  11. I think you're right... unfortunately for F1 fans in the U.S. we won't see races unless we get the streaming internet package while on board.
  12. Sky sports is part of the sports package, but we were unable to see F1 on the west coast. I would be surprised if a sailing in Europe didn't show the F1 races.
  13. PG Cruiser, you are my hero! I have read a lot of summaries of that show, and yours truly nails it!!
  14. Kirsten, download the music and let the kids listen before you go see it. Also, it helps if you read through a summary of what the show is about. It's difficult to follow the "plot" unless you actually understand what's going on.
  15. I saw Cats on Oasis and I have to say that the musical itself rates right down at the bottom of the barrel with the 'Phantom' sequel, Love Never Dies (trust me, it's bad). I love musical theater, but I just never 'got' or appreciated Cats. I'm hoping that when Royal has the opportunity, they will replace it with something with more appealing.
  16. Yes - Royal is really pushing TV and billboard ads in the LA/OC market.
  17. Oh my gosh, that Sunset Verandah 360 at Sunrise - I could look at that all day long. Just stunning!
  18. Beautiful pics and great information... as always! Thanks Twangster!
  19. D D, you do you! I just got off Navigator traveling solo and had a jr. suite. I placed a minimum bid on Royal Up and got it. Personally I loved the expedited check-in when boarding, and truly enjoyed all of the space (compared to the interior room I had on my last cruise). If you have the $$ available for a bid, and want to try it out, why not?
