You are overthinking it. Change husband and son now before going, no need to have adult booked in room for adjacent cabins. Cancel the internet and Key perks as well, don't think you will need it for your family.

We upgraded to GS once after final payment for a 7 night Med cruise. It was cheaper than balcony room we had paid for. Can’t beat that!

Great advise. This is why you should always pay with a credit card and never a bank card. The debit cards offer so much less protection and no travel benefits. Not much help to OP now, but hopefully going forward…

Not sure why you were stressed, the NAAT test is a rapid PCR test and has already been accepted by many. RC's site even calls it a PCR test.
FWIW, we had to show our tests twice before boarding Harmony on 5/29 and I have read of very few people not having to show their documents.
In any case, I hope you had a good time and aren't focusing on the pre-cruise stuff that disappointed you.

Yep, as I stated about my May 13th, Ovation, Alaska, no one asked any in our party for our Proof of Jab, Negative Testing, or ArriveCan.  No one.

Royal is targeting 100%, safe to assume it will be close to that soon.

Yes, it counts as a PCR. This can be found in testing details on Royal’ site.

Explorer and Mariner are Voyager class ships.  Also Navigator and Adventure (and Voyager of course).
Subtle differences.  Mariner and Navigator were the last two built in this class so they have glass balconies while the first three have steel cove style balconies.
Explorer has not yet been amplified so no water slides, no Playmakers, pool deck will be original with minimal kids water area for example.
Basic layout of all Voyager class is identical.

The kids at the mall were young and I don’t care how old you are, practically having sex on a department store mattress is not acceptable behavior.  I worked as a manager for 25 years.  It happened constantly, every Friday.  It was not infrequent or random.
As for my misspent youth, we hung out at the local McDonalds, smoking pot and getting the munchies!  Good respectable stuff.  We were too high to cause trouble 😄😄

There is a world of difference between Adventure Ocean where there have been reports of strict adherence to age and the teen clubs. In the teen club, there is a strict cut off at 17 (no 18 yo’s).  13-17 is 1 big group.

Yes, it is -- and like it was stated above, it's a loose group of activities that they can join in or not.

I agree with @Heymarco.  That was our experience in November and this current web page confirms it with a chart.

I can't and won't get into who did this, that, or the other thing.  "MY RCCL" link says nothing about a "48 Hour "PCR" version".  RCCL says, "
A molecular test, also called a PCR test or NAAT test – our testing requirements call this a “PCR test”   There is no distinction between RAPID or not.  It just lumps a molecular test, which is also called a PCR test OR NAAT TEST, for their purposes as the same requirements as A PCR test, period.  So, according to RCCL's words, a NAAT rapid or not test is acceptable.  Once again, a non-rapid NAAT, will take too long in virtually all cases unless you live next door to a lab that can, legally, process a non-rapid NAAT test and return it to you in time.  They have to be sent off to a lab, that involves transportation to and transportation from the lab.  48 hours is very optimistic especially if you have to travel long distance to the port/city.  I don't think Royal would point you to a test that would cause you not to get your test results in time.  But, at the same time micro manage which type test you have to take.  They give you options.  Sure, they are partnered with a company that will sell you a particular test kit.  But, they aren't saying that that is the only option.
I think we have beating a dead horse, at this point.

I thought the yes, with supporting documentation from Royal’s website was a pretty solid answer.
