We are in Brevard county and lived through the 2004 season of 4 hurricanes!

I love living in Florida. Hurricanes are much less often that snow storms up north. The heat you sort of get used to. Also, I live only 30 minutes from Port Canaveral....huge bonus!!

I loved going to the casino when there was no smoking. I love playing the slots, but not with that smoke and smell. No offense to any smokers that are on here.

Masks would be the first to go for me as well. If I have to continue to wear them to cruise, then so be it. Right now I don't wear a mask anywhere I go, except for the dentist I just went to. If an establishment requires it, I will abide though.

Also, I think a hint was given by CEO Michael Bayley when he asked, "What could this iconic thing be?" And iconic means something that widely recognized and well-established.

The ship I believe will be a cross between Oasis and Quantum classes...features of both with some new and exciting ones as well. The sphere...my guess is an entertainment venue of some sort, possibly Planetarium or IMAX.

It is the same with us as well. Took a cruise on NCL, good cruise, but it just did not feel right. Like you said, Royal just feels like home.

Our next cruise isn't until Sept this year. Hopefully, given it's a little under 8 months, the protocols will have changed a lot by then.

Harmony of the Seas Sept 4th, 2022

Congrats on that upgrade!! I'm going to bid for an upgrade on our cruise in September. Right now we are booked in a balcony (Harmony) so I'm hoping for a Junior Suite.

Has anyone been on this excursion? Thinking about getting this for one of our excursions in September. Thanks

I just remembered that the cruise in September was booked before the double points stopped, so we will get 14 points on that cruise putting us at 86!

I'm in that same boat. After my cruise in Sept I will be one short as well. I think a nice 3 day weekend getaway in October will in order. Maybe we can convince Royal to bring back the double points for the rest of this year.

I do believe that this is the first time that a launch has been scrubbed due to a cruise ship. Most other times it is due to pleasure craft or an aircraft

Covid is going to be with us always, just like the flu. And just like the flu there are going to be different variants. I believe that this will eventually be just as common as the common cold.

I believe that is a glitch as well. Probably didn't everything moved.
