I've also seen price jumps as I've gone back in and looked around. 
I also saw some cases where refundable was the same as NRD.  Duh!  YOLO!
It pays to be the early bird.

Oh definitely, but as a native San Diegan, anything under 75 or so is a no-go on water activities!! 

Yes I have seen the prices jump several times this morning.  I am booked for November 2022 but since the cruise is heading South I figured the weather should be decent enough for the water slides.

Since we change our cruise from Oasis out of Cape Liberty in late July to Adventure out of Nassau in early August we needed flights.  So I decide to try Air2Sea.....man that was not very as easy as it should have been (or my expectations/way of doing things make it waaay harder).
We 'shifted' a fully paid off cruise.....which means Adventure is fully paid for and RC was going to issue refund for the difference.
At the same time I added a 5th person.  And because of 'reasons' RC could not apply the refund to this new person because it is a different reservation number *even though staying in same room.  So I had given a $1000 depo. and planned to pay off prior to 90 day.
So then I use air2sea website, pick out tickets, click buy/checkout, get email confirmations.  It never asked me for credit info so I assume RC has it on file.  Check in AA a couple days later to pick seats and it says "tickets not issued, call booking"...so I call AA....wait on hold for 1.5 hours to get a person....they say "Not us, you need to call royal"
So call Royal...."we don't issue tickets until late June"....so I'm like "Well how am I guaranteed my seats then? and how are they paid for you never asked for a CC, I thought there was payment problem?"....oh no all the seats are completely paid for....for 4 of you....but the 5th one isn't paid for yet.....
So the only thing that makes sense is Royal paid for the airfare out of the refund the owe me for the moved cruise and for my 5th passenger, they added the airfare cost to the final payment amount that was still due....all without clearly explaining of it.
 
SIGH.

Got some 2 bedroom suites booked 11-7-2022.

Keep an eye out. Stranger things have happened.

I'm somewhat disturbed by the trend of these cruise planner sale prices.  They pretty much advertise the same old 50% off but the sale price has doubled in some cases.  Internet prices are particularly disturbing. The 4 device internet package for 50% off was never $40 per day when it wasn't on sale.

Sales are subject to supply and demand trends.  
I monitor frequently and saved a bunch today.
A few excursions went up in price like they always do.  That just means they are selling well and almost sold out.
Given the alternative I'll take these sales every time.  I always find something at a lower price and if I don't I wait for some other sale to find something else at a lower price.

I'm still bummed I didn't pull the trigger on the coco cay beach club when it was $71 per person right after Adventure went on sale.

Well I am finally booked November 2022!  Dates work perfectly for us to cruise and then fly to Tucson for my goddaughter’s wedding ?  Wish I could book one sooner but already have two vacations booked later this year (one is on Oasis) and then Freedom in April and family trip to Disney in June and Allure in September!   So 2023 will be next!!
This has been fun? what’s next??? ???

Wow our Jr suite has gone up by $150 from what we booked it for. Demand/price surging is happening as I type this I am guessing!

We're on Navigator in Dec 2021, Symphony in Feb 2022, and then maybe Navigator in March 2022? Need to convince the wife for me to go solo on that March 2022 one, oh and the job thing... ?

Beyond belief 10 years in the making Im booked on a RCI sailing out of LA! ?

Worth the wait... ? Looking forward to sailing out of LA on Royal Caribbean too!!!
