  1. Hi @Adriana I followed your recent blog and feel so sorry for all you had to endure during the entire cruise! Your attitude and demeanor throughout the week totally impressed me! I hope you feel rejuvenated after your few days visiting the Shrine.
  2. I would definitely change my room to an Ocean View Balcony…yes, the price might be higher but so worth it. Then you can try to Royal up to something even better! But…if you don’t win the bid at least you will have a great room!
  3. Just as a note…our dividers (again we were on Freedom) were fastened and completely secured. It’s too bad @BigKarl had an issue when on the Navigator. Maybe each class of ship has different types of dividers.
  4. Interesting menu! I am considering this for my 2023 July cruise. The price is $49.99/pp. Is this the standard price across the board?
  5. I only saw regular ones…different flavors/toppings but I wasn’t looking for gluten free so did not notice if there were any marked as such.
  6. I don’t know if I missed it or not but what type of room had you originally booked and what type did you end up in? Was location and deck level comparable to your original?
  7. We did this when sailing on Freedom in April. We had 5 adjacent rooms and had all the dividers open. It was awesome to sit on the balcony in the morning sipping specialty coffee and all of us planning out our day together. Adventure does not have the ability for this so I assume it is Freedom class and above that does?
  8. I booked a cruise for July 2023 just a couple of weeks ago. Since I needed an adult with my 3 granddaughters (I booked my daughter and SIL in their own room) I listed my husband with the girls and I booked our room with just me in it. The price for the room with just me listed is exactly the price of a room with 2 minus the taxes for that second person. It is not priced higher. Now I will earn double points and everyone will be happy. Maybe different categories have different prices? I have 5 OV Balconies in a row so we can open the dividers!
  9. I attended the one held during my Allure cruise in September. Same as mentioned above by @FionaMG and @wordell1. It was held in the amphitheater so was wide open and lasted only about 20 minutes.
  10. Oh just book it...LOL...you know you want to!! Had my anniversary fell during that week...I would have perhaps had a chance to meet you!!
  11. I would love to take a chance on a GTY room (sometimes so much cheaper!) but am afraid I will be given a room in the front of the ship and/or on a low deck! The forward section is not a place I want my room to be! And I much prefer a higher deck to a low one. So at this point I pay the extra money and choose my room. Maybe I will get brave someday?
  12. My July cruise currently has a price drop. I just save $1741 total for my 5 balcony rooms. Since I booked this family cruise just 9 days ago I have saved a total of $2601! And I will continue to check and hopefully save a little (or a lot ) more!

  14. I think it’s Freedom class and higher that has the dividers that can open. I was on Freedom and we had 5 balcony rooms in a row. We opened all the dividers and it was great! I was on Adventure and they do not open.

  17. Super excited about this one! Celebrating 45th wedding anniversary (Nov 3). All I have to do now is figure out best time to tell my hubby that I did this…hmmmmaybe Nov 1, 2024!!!!
  18. We had the refreshment package on Allure in September. Any time we went to WJ we would order lattes, etc and fresh squeezed orange juice. No problem getting them. The waiter would send someone down to Cafe Promenade for the lattes, etc. Not sure where they had to go for the OJ but it always arrived and was delish!
  19. My advice…send an email to [email protected] as soon as possible. You should receive an acknowledgment email within 2 days. I went this route when Royal was giving people a hard time about refunds rather than FCC during the height of COVID. After the first email I was contacted by Mike Bermudez (Mr Bayley’s assistant) and he was excellent with his responses and attention to my issues. You absolutely deserve better treatment and compensation than what you have received so far! What a horrible experience. Good luck and keep us in the loop!
  20. I had a South Beach cabana in April…so not sure if this is the same…But…the paper they leave in the room just tells you the number of the cabana and to report when you arrive. Upon arrival we were provided wristbands to wear. I would assume all cabana rentals do the same thing?
  21. I was only able to book a deck 12 balcony room. Hopefully down the line I can find something perhaps one or two decks lower? It does seem odd that for all the dates I looked at before booking there are not a lot of rooms to choose from! Can't possibly be that ALL THE DATES AND ALL THE ROOMS are booked already!!!!!!
  22. Just booked for November 2024. Peter and I will be celebrating our 45th anniversary while on the ship! Super excited. Not telling him yet...LOL...he thinks I am "cruise crazy"!! What????
